I've done very well out of all those anonymous flyers
DFD +82% (in days of yore!)
KMR +51% still holding
FOGL +110% still holding
BRR +14% since November 1 and still holding
Just do a buit of research and you can usually find out who they are talking about.

Tried to top up all afternoon but for the first time i can remember in this stock the MMs had nothing to offer in size online. Whilst not wanting to 'talk these up' too much it would appear there's little stock around. Could be an interesting week and highly profitable if the DOW/FTSE can start behaving.

"Described recently by one analyst as 'the most compelling Nickel play on the market, Braemore Resources was in demand as traders anticipated an update on the companys vast Nickel deposits. The AIM listed miner rose 2p on decent volume to a years high of 21.25p. Another noticable gainer was EMED Mining which also witnessed a healthy rise on bullish talk about its Slovakian gold prospects."
"Braemore Resources, the miner with nickel interests in Australia and platinum assets in South Africa, rose 2p to 21¼p on talk that it is about to appoint two high-profile brokerages, including Mirabeau Securities. Hamish Bohannan took the helm as chief executive last week."

If you remain to be convinced of the future of this company, you can do worse than listen to Hamish`s webcast.

I knew that would appeal to cynic! 14 does tweak my cynicism a bit too but I like the sound of it--I'm not selling for a while.

Cynic: it's good to see your usual cynical remarks here (14p indeed!) - it keeps us down to earth amid all the euphoria. This does seem a real little gem of a company though.

mitzy-lemming have done the calcs quite carefully on the results expected from the piles of tailings from bht--read some of it on the other side. but I'd be happy anyway at 300p!!

I remember they said SOLA could be worth 800-1200p when they were 115p so they were'nt wildly far out. Agree 1400p is the perfect scenario but 300p wouldn't be a silly estimate when you look at how miners can rise, KMR being a good example of a 15 bagger for those in at 4p. Considering BRR were 15p back in 2005 then they haven't yet set the world alight have they as regards shareprice?
from ADVFN board:
1400p was mentioned in the lemmming write up not RHPS. I hope they won't mind me posting a small excerpt, especially as it's now quite a few days old .....
"Essentially, BRR have exclusive rights to buy a heap of waste red rock from BHP, do their magic, then sell it back to BHP for c70% of LME price, BRR stand to
pocket c65% of the LME price of nickel after 5% of LME price. BRR's part could equate to more than 1400p per share, making a mockery of today's market cap of £129.3m at 19.5p."

I read the tailings cost them 30% and they sold it for 70% to BHP - taking a gross profit of 40% of the LME Ni price.
