So to sum up the weeks posts on this thread most of us agree that the derf of Bin Laden was deserved and has made the world a better place.
Mind you he obviously has at least one fan.
Note.........the anagram of derf!
Will be out of internet reach till the 15th as walking the Cleveland Way for charity.
Thought about being trendy this year and collecting money for the One legged, lesbian, gay gypsy benevolent fund, but after some though, decided to donate to my usual charity, the local hospice.

Fred you are trying to widen the argument but sticking to the death of BL , imo , however he got his comeuppance is ok with me.
Go watch all the videos he's made over the last ten years and then tell me he deserved a trial , he signed his own death warrant.
As for Special Forces carrying stun guns instead of real weapons your having a laff.

He may not have deserved a trial, but, if possible, the "world" did.
The special forces are generally big "boys" and could carry a few extra tools, after all they carried BL's body.
Never met the Americans "boys", but have known a few British "lads".
Carrying out "orders" is never a successful plea in a court of law.

I wonder how long Dil will take before he catches on that replying to Fred's posts is a pointless waste of time , the only time i reply is to show him up as the pathetic little man he is, who else would create threads simply to wind people up.

Have none of the conspiracy nutters who believe that the US lies constantly, given a thought to the fact that it was the US who decribed Bin as " unarmed", could they be lying, ah now theres a conundrum?
If, as is possible he died armed to the teeth and tried to fight it out he would be morer of a hero to the nutters?

Seq,
Amusing argument.
But I think the media releases just shows how confused the Americans command structure really is.
Perhaps, their PR is organised by aids.

aldwickk , not got a problem with Fred having his own point of view and as for wind up merchants .... errrrr I think I was one of the founder members.
Fred , western world are happy , most of the rest don't care so to appease a few murdering followers of Bin Bag I think shooting him was fine ... I and most of the world can live with it imo.
I too know some "armed forces" Fred and they take what they need and that dont include toys.
As for court .... again , yer having a laff.

I wonder if the American action in Pakistan was attempting to divert attention from policy failures in Libya, Syria and Iraq?
Was it done for American internal politics, as it hasn't help them on the international stage?
I can't see that transgressions in Pakistan has help their escape from Afghanistan?
"Haven't heard much from Cameron or his crewmen!"
When does a rebel become a terrorist and when does legitimate bombing with "acceptable collateral damage", i.e. civilians as in Iraq become "terrorist", or "war crimes".
Confusion reigns or should it be "rains".

Cynic,
Thank you for your considered reply to all points.
Strangely, once again it doesn't seem to reflect the responses and opinions of the Middle East and Far East countries.
United Nations are questioning the legalities of the BL killing.
Also, many are considering their future relationship with a waning power.
Are you marching to your own tune once again, or just out of tune.
Must pack my flak jacket.

Maybe it would seemed a good place at the time.
Personally, I think it will be seen as a stupid insult to many, including his opponents.
The Americans can be cack-handed and sometimes show less foresight than foreskin.
