Fx: eur/usd long was a happy event today.

I think i'll leave this on overnight. It broke above the two day ma of the highs.( a signal of sorts in my book).

figures not so good -gad finger on the buzzer and managed a short giving 50pts.Not bad for b 4 open today!!!!!

zarif, it certainly seems harder to make longs pay off. I closed out my overnight at b/e. Nice work on the short.
Watch it bounce at the open - maybe.
Does anyone know what those figures mean? What's the significance of non farm payrolls? Unemployment I understand. ECRI Inflation guage?

If you look at this Dow chart it looks like a top may be in.
Doesn't it?
The PPO (price percentage oscillator) seems to have lost momentum.
The ADX looks to be changing direction.
Any thoughts anyone?

Nice one zarif. You must have been short all day.
I tried a long at 10500 - and you know what heppened there.
Reversed it and managed to get enough to come out up 2 points on the day.
My system is now short but I don't want to leave a short on over the weekend.
I don't know when the Fed will decide to take a hand.
So now I am flat till Monday.

I bet they take it back to 10500 before the close.
Maybe not.

Snoball - I managed 3 shorts today - 2 medium ones and the last was the nutctracker - i think the Ym have been exposed pretty badly -imagine 1000 jobs only to add and in nov figures were 14000 error.
