don't think i have a gold chart available to hand, but as i said, my memory is that $645 is a good support level ...... which does NOT mean you have to throw your hat in the ring
found one but it was back to 2003! ...... $645 is well supported and $638 even more so ..... have confirmed with my chartist guru

Investors often buy gold as a safe bet when financial markets look unstable, but investors are keen to unload the metal after plunges in global equity markets this week, analysts said. Many investment funds were seen to have bought commodities, including gold, over the past month with the proceeds from stocks as Wall Street reached record highs last month.
"Gold is not glittering any longer as a safe haven," Dresdner Kleinwort analysts said in a market report.
"Commodities in general are perceived as risky assets...This asset class is just sold to reduce portfolio risk and to take profits in order to compensate losses suffered in other assets like equities,

Gold needs to close over $659.90 today to be in short term bullish trend, else expect a fall to $639 and $627 next week. Resistance is capped at $672 and $680

i'll certainly buy into $639, for it's close enough to $638! ..... not quite sure where $627 comes from or is that to do with time angles and the like?
