OLYMPICS, LONDON 2012, What do you think ? (OLYM)

required field - 25 Jul 2012 19:07

Though I'd start a thread as this is an event that all of us will only experience once in a lifetime......to me the best part will be the legacies with the superb infrastructure left behind....

Bet on a win....so that wasn't so good,.....only saw the last 20mn...can't say I was impressed by what I saw.....we don't have any decent playmakers any longer in this country anymore...

Dil - 27 Jul 2012 09:41 - 12 of 64

rf ... the last 20 mins were the most entertaining.

Crikey.....what did I miss ?..

ahoj - 27 Jul 2012 10:43 - 14 of 64

Don't worry, Japan 1 Spain 0. Japan had over 10 opportunities, while Spain had only two!!!!

Yes, Team GB had a couple of opportunities, but Senegal had more!!

Briton like negative stories and they get it. This is the culture developed over the last 10-12 years. Sorry to say that there is no courage to help development, even in sport.

The media in general (SUN, News of the World, etc, even BBC) are responsible.

A truly vibrant ceremony given to the people by the people. The firing up of the cauldron quite extraordinary. Well done London :)

Stunning performance by the GB gymnastic team. Bronze medal against all expectations, what a marvellous around performance.

HARRYCAT - 30 Jul 2012 22:33 - 22 of 64

I feel a bit sorry for the Ukranian team who had bronze but lost it on the Japanese appeal.

required field - 30 Jul 2012 22:35 - 23 of 64

These decisions should be made before the official awards are made.....even if it takes a few minutes......this is too big a mistake to make.....well done the GB team.....fantastic result....against the best in the world !....
