but because the price is controlled by just 4xMM, it can be manipulated very easily ..... 5/7% is far too wide for trading purposes, especially as blocks of only 1,000 are on offer, though one can usually buy/short more ..... however, you need your fingers x'ed when you want to close the position, even if you are dealing live

Applied Graphene Materials reports positive preliminary findings following independent performance testing on graphene reinforced polyurethane coatings using graphene produced by the group. The performance testing was undertaken by a globally recognised independent coatings expert.
Polyurethane coatings are used in a wide range of industries including automotive, aircraft and general industrial coatings.
Although the extensive test programme is continuing, the initial results demonstrate that low loading levels of the group's graphene nanoplatelets substantially enhance the scratch resistance and ultimate tensile strength of a polyurethane clearcoat, and critically with minimal impact on transparency or colour. This opens up the route to further development for commercial applications in numerous high performance paints and coatings.
Applied Graphene Materials will be sharing the findings of the test programme with its Coatings Industry partners and also engaging with other interested parties when at the European Coatings Show in Nuremburg, between 21 April and 23 April.

This company caught my eye this week because of the Graphene dress being sported in the Trafford Centre.
There is also a huge article in this week's Money Week about what an amazing material it is with all its uses etc.
As the shares are languishing it might be time to get in. We are all looking for thew internet revolution aren't we. All it needs is the right kind of excitement! :)
Other shares are available - Haydale for example.
I have bought both.

The Money week article seems to have caught folk's attention this morning. Plus the MD bought 14500 late Friday at 1.38. No idea why he waited so long tbh.

They had a fund raising last month at 36p, so seems they are a bit strapped for cash.
Not one I have followed either, but they seem to be struggling compared to VRS in the same sector.

Applied Graphene Materials' board remains pleased with the progress that the group is making, shareholders at today's annual general meeting will be told.
Chairman Bryan Dobson will say: 'The board remains pleased with the progress that the group is making towards the commercialisation of its products and proprietary technologies; funding customer collaborations and joint development activity as well as continuing to target further production orders.
'Following on from our initial production orders the business secured additional production orders in 2017. Whilst the magnitude of these orders is not large, they represent important milestones in the development of the company.
'The number of active engagements increased significantly in the year and currently stands at around 100.
'Targeting further additional production orders remains the greatest ongoing priority for the Group, as we focus on converting these additional opportunities into production orders.
'Following the equity raise in October 2017, the group is well funded as it seeks to capitalise on these opportunities.'
