Haystack - 24 May 2005 13:38 - 11 of 1643

Pete
That's an Email address (note the use of the @)

advans - 24 May 2005 13:38 - 12 of 1643

Pete, as I am on the laptop, I have not got my list of off thread contacts. Can you drop them all an email explaining the reasons we have left ADV!

As it happens, they offer a much better deal here anyway!

Paste in a link to this thread too!

Haystack - 24 May 2005 13:40 - 13 of 1643

Pete
You are amusing at times. I have been posting on EVS here for some time. It is very civilised here and NO personal abuse is allowed.

peteark - 24 May 2005 13:40 - 14 of 1643

sure

Haystack - 24 May 2005 13:43 - 15 of 1643

Pete
Level 2 is very good here as is the Traders BB. They are both well worth the subscription.

MonayAm often have free trials of Level 2 and other special features. Just Email support and they may let you try it.

peteark - 24 May 2005 13:47 - 16 of 1643

CAN ALL GUESTS PLEASE NOTE THE LAST LINE IN THE HEADER TY

peteark - 24 May 2005 13:58 - 17 of 1643

That way we will have peaceful discussions.........

tangle - 24 May 2005 14:05 - 18 of 1643

Hi Advan/Pete, nice thread, great idea.

Frank ;-)

DarthVader - 24 May 2005 14:07 - 19 of 1643

Haystack you strike me as a very sad, lonely and bitter man.

REDHILL - 24 May 2005 14:13 - 20 of 1643

That Haystack is on fire!

advans - 24 May 2005 14:14 - 21 of 1643

Darth, let's try and all make to effort from today on to ignore haystack and not give him any reason for response.

He will continue to post, but at least the recent happenings on ADV will not be repeated here!

He thrives on response!!!

advans - 24 May 2005 14:15 - 22 of 1643

Red, Hi! Frank, nice to see you! Let's hope we can get this thread like the old one used to be!

peteark - 24 May 2005 14:18 - 23 of 1643

Can I have a show of hands who has Haystack on squelch?

DarthVader - 24 May 2005 14:20 - 24 of 1643

Well suppose we start the EVS discussion with the following question:

WILL THE COMPANY RELEASE ANY NEWS SOON??????

Forget how well the company is doing, we all know that, what we need to move forward is some RNS.
The market is driven by day traders, their attention needs to be brought back here.
Come on EVS, give us something or we will all die of boredom!

tangle - 24 May 2005 14:22 - 25 of 1643

Just popped in for a cuppa, and found you had moved over here.
Been a member here for quite a while, not quite as frantic as the other side tends to become at times.

Anyway, back to work for me, see you all later.

shareguevara - 24 May 2005 14:22 - 26 of 1643

Afternoon chaps,

Hullman from the other site here. I have been using this site for months. Frankly the only thing going for the other side was the bbs and they have descended into farce recently. Streaming info has always been superior here.

Before I forget....my first job on this thread, test out the filter! Bye Gregory.

tangle - 24 May 2005 14:24 - 27 of 1643

Pete, he's squelched.

Frank.

peteark - 24 May 2005 14:28 - 28 of 1643

It should not be difficult a thread with no one allowed to reply to Haystack, not a lot to ask.

Haystack - 24 May 2005 14:31 - 29 of 1643

It won't have any efect on my posts. I don't like EVS as a business and I think it is over priced at present. I will continue to post negative views as that is how I feel about the company. At least on here, abuse is not permitted. If you have opposing views on a stock then you just have to accept that fact.

Haystack - 24 May 2005 14:32 - 30 of 1643

The type of business that EVS is in, is a high risk proposition. There is nothing wrong with the company and its products all look good. It is the valuation that I have trouble with. They cannot carry on with their current margins for ever as the cut price call market is being squeezed from several directions.

You only have to look at web sites like

http://niftylist.co.uk/

to see how cheap calls can be.

Many people on this BB and the Traders' BB are using www.18866.com and www.1899.com for their calls. Several people who have companies are also using them for cheap international calls, cheap UK calls and cheap calls to mobiles.

The web site http://niftylist.co.uk/ gives even cheaper calls to some places than 1899 and 18866.

EVS have a new part of their company called Cheaper Call Rate. It is cheaper than BT and some call companies, but nowhere near the cheapest. Cheapness of calls is the prime mover in the cheap call market. How successful CCR becomes s anyone's guess at the moment.
