Anyone got any good to say? (LOQ)

hangon - 14 Jun 2005 18:05

This is another company with a zero following here, so I wonder if anyone has used their queue-busting gismo?, - for example at Alton Towers.

glennborthwick - 01 Jul 2006 09:30 - 11 of 24

something going on here - seemingly bad news from six flags but the mmstried to walk down and someone jumps in with a 50k buy 1p above bid price.

seen thsi before - there must be positve news / good trading

hangon - 03 Jul 2006 16:15 - 12 of 24

Well there seems to be some upward movement, it's just nicer if it's after the co makes an RNS; for then we know where we are.

15p soon?

hangon - 17 Jul 2006 14:47 - 13 of 24

...shall I repeat 03 July 06 post?..."Up lots today - yet still no news from the company" - Well, I have sold into strength.
I cannot take this level of no-news any longer.
Management will be satisfied by the salaries they receive and don't think investors deserve any news, or they haven't anything to report............what other explanation is there?....they need to create new products and until I see that, I'm out. They have relied on US-sales in a few locations for a very long time, IMHO.

sniffer - 19 Jul 2006 13:03 - 14 of 24

Bad luck hangon.

rdotdj - 25 Jul 2006 01:29 - 15 of 24

YES, I have something good to impart;- Take3 a good look at Ennstone (ENN ) Construction & building materials at only 49p But DYOR just look at the last two investment companies who have invested over 58m in this company. This share was one of only three who survived the years suggestions in January2006. But don't take my word for it again DYOR. Best of luck.
Another one for reaching ghreat heights is Vislink, that is certain to be a long term winner

glennborthwick - 31 Jul 2006 14:07 - 16 of 24

this is still fundamentally a great risk reward play

i have bought ashedload at 5-10p so am clearly biaised ;) but 700k in cash, new pilot at dollywood, new six flags ceo loves the product and the rebrabding is working atreat

expect to see profits this year of 300k , strip out the casha nd its on a PE of 5 , way too cheap considering the patents and IP plus growth opportunity

hangon - 03 Nov 2006 16:20 - 17 of 24

The market agrees with you and it just shows that "more of the same" can have a dramatic effect on a sp =Up 60% today!
How one wished the future was easier to read.
However, this co has been very silent about everything and no warning that things were a-changing (I recall?).....so I suspect they haven't changed - and yr point about Patents is so-so IMHO - for there are easier ways to do this "Queue-busting" now that everyone has a mobile phone....& why would you want to cary this extra dongle about?
The idea was good when I originally invested, but they have demonstrate a singular lack of ability to develop their business, esp. in the UK - and competitors are already snapping......so, those that made money on the rise today, take it!

HARRYCAT - 03 Nov 2006 16:52 - 18 of 24

Who are the competitors? If this is due to go belly-up, then others must be in the sidelines.
Missed out on this one completely, so anxious to research the others.

glennborthwick - 05 Nov 2006 07:56 - 19 of 24

theres loads of info on advfn on this one. according to the techies Mobile phone messaging wont work in theme park environments (too many people in a confined area and it would take up to an hour for any sms to arrive.)

Theres no decent competition thats for sure . Loqs product does much more as well - for example when youre within 100 yards of a pizza place it will zap you an advert outside of peak hours saying 2 dollars of a pizza within the next 30 mins etc. Also the new v20/20 system allows you to plan your whole day from one handset - no need to walk physically to each log ion point

exisiting park I expect to see a 10% rise in usage/income. Im presuming that park equates for 60% of turnover or 1.2 million so from that park i expect 1.32 million next year. I expect the other parks to grow income by 25% with LOQ management so that should add another 1.3 million. The two new parks should add turnover of 500k. Dollywood I will add 200k so turnover should be around 3.3 million.

i would expect fixed admin costs to be around 1.4 million and cost of sales higher due to staffing at 35% of turnover or 1.1 million so total costs of 2.5 million. My target profit is therefore 800k or 6-7p a share . Current forward pe then still sub 5

glennborthwick - 05 Nov 2006 07:57 - 20 of 24

by the way there is zero chance of this going bust - it has 700k in the bank, and will mae around 300k this year.

hangon - 11 Nov 2008 16:14 - 21 of 24

Purchases of 28k and some mention of a non-uk company forecast and we see a 40% rise in LO-Q....
Yet,
Strangely Buys are only 10% higher than Sales - so where's the justification for 40% uplift? This is a MM's Market, eh?

FWIW, What surprises me even further is that with US suffering massive credit-crunch and job-fears that a Park is predicting massive increases in their Autumn turnover...presumably they mean "income" - or does this include only foot-fall? - who cares?

glennborthwick - 11 Nov 2008 17:20 - 22 of 24

no its income. Its called the staycation. Instead of families flying to disney they stay at home and use the local six flags park. holiday at disney $1000. Day at six flags $200. The upgrade last night was massively significant. ANything from 17 to 20 million dollars in revenue were taken by LO-q this summer at a dollar exchange rate of around 1.7 instead of last years 2. Profits will bemassive

oilyrag - 14 Nov 2008 08:50 - 23 of 24

It would appear to be falling into place at last. Well done Glen, and good luck.

glennborthwick - 22 Nov 2008 10:22 - 24 of 24

Lo-q announce profits of at least 1.85 million. AT least 2 new parks for 2009 season. Dollar likely to be at 1.5 instead of the 1.8 weighted average this year so another 15% benefit there. Profits next year to be at least 2.5 million pounds IMO. MArket cap still under 6 and they are sitting on 2.5 million of cash so strip that out and PE is just 2 to 3 on a share which has grown profits by 300%
