Fell almost 20% today!
Anyone live near their Scottish works (or Newcastle upon Tyne region)....can comment on activity, staffing etc?
I wonder what their cash position is, bearing in mind they have floated Nov2005 and already the sp is nearly halved.....oh dear!
Could be lack of news, or....... news that dare not speak its....
Not a holder but interested to learn more, they have a deal with Neuron and some Government body, but this may be short-lived I guess. Based on stem-cell research/production this is a Political area where Public minds can change rapidly.
If it is Gov funding then this can be cut overnight, or something nasty eascapes (or Newspapers say it has escaped, etc)
I note that the spread is a robust 40%, now why is that? (very low volumes?-dunno.)
Anyone holding?

I spoke to Gordon Sherriff today and was very encouraged. I think they possibly overstretched themselves based on the US contract and hence pushed ahead wih Cramlington. With the US contact not coming to fruition they have restructured, closed Cramlington thus cutting overheads to become a leaner operation again. I suspect they will soon be profitable. As Gordon said he did not buy shares recently at .175p with a view to losing money. I said that I had taken that as a positive sign and he was pleased that it had given reassurance and thanked me for sticking with them. He said they were aware that the current Sp probably reflected the lack of news but they hoped to address that soon.
Certainly worth any other large holders who have concerns contacting them as I found them to be very approachable. It did indeed give reassurance and made me think a positive future lies ahead so added another million this afternoon.

((Gatyenbank your knowledge would appear to have paid off, but from the sidelines - - - - ))
Monday
Very odd sp movement; someone remind me "Bargepoles" should I think of investing. Even with Today's 50% uplift this business has masses of shares on the Market and Billam ( see Investment RNS a while ago) who, presumably, bought cheaply has seen their holding drop in value. =Bad call.
SP movements like today's are Bad News and frankly the RNS (today) about a new certificate of manufacture is hardly earth-shattering - - - wouldn't you expect a new factory (paid for by we punters! Grr). . . would indeed have all the necessary standards?
Of course you would . . . . and the sp should only move barely 5% as the market takes note the Execs haven't (yet) Jetted-off to sunny climes, clutching their bonuses... which will no-doubt require ". . . a strong sp-performance... er, Ho-Ho."
Currently the Mkt Cap is just 1m, so expect some consolidation to remove the paltry sp "value" under 1p.
I suspect that having a Government Customer (the NHS) is seen as a negative, being penny-pinching although reasonably safe, until they find some old pills in a cupboard, or overseas when the Patent runs out.

RNS confirms the Co is in discussion . . . .
Well, it's nice to know the Execs are awake, even though they took their time to shake the sleep out of their eyes. It is about time Company Execs took care of their responsibilities . . . . not by waiting unil the News is "out" - but well in advance!
Leaves a nasty Whiff, IMHO.
EDIT Oct08 - after slight rise, methinks BargePoles....
