Many posters come to a new website for the first time for a look around and lurk, ie do not post, just to familiarise themselves with the set up etc.

I thought we could do with a thread where people who have just arrived could come in say hello, ask questions, talk to the locals, but most importantly say they were here and say hello to everybody.

Great to see some competition at last. Would be good to see some of the latest technology used in the future (such as a public defined API so I can stream the prices into my own applications).

going to set this up tonight, and try and use it instead of ADVFN, see how i get on, the only problem i can see, is that traffic is going to be light, but nothing we can do about that until word gets about....(and it will..!!!)

The Investors room is well monitored by AM so it should be fun but not get to much out of hand.

Proactively monitored? That should bring the average level of posts up a magnitude or two. Sounds good. Now if someone can describe the 3 different subscription options on the Bugs thread(the FAQ is left a little wanting).
