In the recent Agm the chairman said "the company has made a positive start to the financial year and the board remains optimistic about prospects for the business."
Pre-tax losses have also nearly halved from 6.4 mln to a loss of 3.4 mln on cost cutting. They have also had a successful fund raising.
Also chart indicators show that it may be time for the next leg upwards past recent resistance at 7.5p. and please remember you are responsible for the timing of your own buying and selling actions.

This board provides a useful tool to filter out comments from people you don't want to read. Click on their username and hit the 'Squelch' button. At the moment all I'm seeing on this list is the responses to ajren's comments.

Bit like watching people talk on the telly with the sound turned off. Often much more amusing.

This one is going to go North again very soon imop. During a Commons debate today the subject of National ID Cards was discussed. It is only a matter of time before they are introduced for a variety of purposes - collection of State Benefits being one. IDD are tipped to sign a contract with the Post Office for 12 million cards to enable the collection of State Benefits.

My first time in a message room! I have good feelings about this share and have been puzzled by its downtrend. Thanks Scottie for the morale boost.

Ajren
I think you should still continue to post. I certainly need an alternative view, Once I decide a share is good I did tend to adopt a one sided view and I need some constructive criticism so that I can sensibly evaluate it.
I've got good hopes for this one, it just may take some time.

ajren, I think you should post on this thread. Theres always two sides to an argument. I can take be wrong as long as an alternative argument is put forward that is justified. I think this ones a medium to long termer and Im just waiting for the banks to start coming in buying.

Hi RS, I D Data is up today isnt it, thought I had seen it tick up. There has been a good reason for I D Datas weakness over the past few weeks and it involves loan notes which were offered to institutions as a form of raising capital for I D D. 4 million were offered at 5.5p and pay 7% interest per annum. The market price of the share at the time was 3p on announcement. The problem has been that the shares raced ahead on news from the government and the Banks ( big customers)to just over 11p, the institutions profit starved for over three years in effect have said forget the 7% interest we will take over 100% capital return. They have therefore exchanged their loan notes for share and have sold them, taking the profits on offer. This has been going on for a few weeks now but looks to be abating. The good news for the company is two fold in that they have raised the extra working capital they required and they no longer have to sevice the interest payments on the loan notes sold.
cheers Gf.
