ENVESTA TELECOM A NEW BEGINING (EVS)

Dr Ling - I agree, Julian Richer - of Richer Sounds - cause he likes the management I believe has lost a lot of money on CFE buying in at a much higher price, and was holding. It is still struggling.

capetown - are you a holder of EVS? I think that the news will get better.
Hopefully at the end of September the statement will be more positive, with the issue over the shortage of working capital then sorted out. Will we see more bottom fishing next week? The price should be firmer at these levels and even move up next week.

The turnover keeps increasing - CCR is an excellent product with no catches - you get what you see on the can with no hidden charges - some telephone cards have a daily maintenance charge of 10p once they are first used, so if you only use it every 2 weeks it has run down 1.40 in the meantime.
CCR is plain and simply and honest.

Hi guru,
i am a holder of EVS,i will ad next wekk to average down,i agree with you,yes the ts was not well put but then the price went up from 2-above 6 on news that the company was making a profit,so if this is sustained i am confident it will recover, the n climb again on confirmed good news which should be forthcoming in sept

capetown - I believe that the September statement is cruticial, more important than the results, and that KJ will not make the same mistake and will give the statement much more thought as to the perception it could receive by the market.
Two things that could vastly improve the share price in the statement -
1. Saying that the working capital problem is not as big an issue as first thought and availability of funds are in place if required - overdraft, or whatever
2. CCR turnover is increasing more rapidly than first expected - with generating revenues from Companies.
Our hands are in KJ, lets hope he has a good holiday, and his mind is on the job when he comes back.
FMJ started off badly today, but recovered a bit now.

That too is seen as a reversal of the trading statement in April, saying that they were looking for an acquisition, now they apparently cant fund an acquisition without a paper issue. The biggest problem now is credibility. You tell shareholders in April of a rosy prospective future, only in August to say:

that you are now short of cash, there will be no dividend, and no acquisition,

that is why the SP is under pressure, as investors read between the lines.
Can KJ and KMcG gain this credibility back? They need to if the SP is to recover.

Ed Straker - 09 Aug 2005 18:06 - 1109 of 1643

I have e-mailed the company asking that the FD clarifies the situation regarding working capital. I believe the shares should be suspended until such a time. I feel the current price is a gross distortion of the true value of EVS and is leaving it in a vulnerable situation. I find it hard to believe that no comment has been made regarding the catastrophic fall in price when the company appears to be performing well.

Ling - 09 Aug 2005 19:30 - 1110 of 1643

Well said. I am nursing very large losses and I blame it entirely on the board. They couldn't have made a worse mess of the recent statement.

Haystack - 09 Aug 2005 19:47 - 1111 of 1643

People keep expecting EVS to issue a statement about the fall in the share price. The statements tend to be something like:-

"The company has noted the movement in its share price and knows of no reason for it".

What if the 'knows no reason" bit is not quite right. Do you still get the statement?

guru11 - 09 Aug 2005 23:21 - 1112 of 1643

Haystack - there will be no statement believe me.
I dont expect one certainly about the falling share price either.

tallsiii - 10 Aug 2005 09:55 - 1113 of 1643

The 2006 PE is now looking tasty at less than 4. They have stated that the company is on target to meet expectations, but the eps may be watered down a little if there is a new share issue.

I still think it may have a quite a bit further to fall before buyers feel it is time to jump back in.

annbar - 10 Aug 2005 15:39 - 1114 of 1643
