LONDON (AFX) - Provexis PLC said it has entered into a long-term collaboration agreement with Unilever PLC to jointly develop a new concentrated format of its patented Fruitflow heart-health technology for application in Unilever's food product portfolio.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The partners plan to enter into a global licence arrangement for the technology.

Fruitflow is a patented natural extract from tomato which Provexis said has been shown in human trials to reduce the propensity for aberrant blood clotting that is typically associated with cardiovascular disease and which can lead to heart attack or stroke.

In 2005 the market for heart benefit foods was worth 4 bln usd globally, Provexis added.

Considering the growth potential this share has a target of about 8-10p in the medium tern and is a good buy at current levels

at 3.30 it's hard to believe that's a sell, though technically i suppose it could be

3.15 on the bid at that time. Imo most the sells today were buys.

Well, as a SETsMM stock it's quite difficult to judge what are sells or buys and quite frankly a waste of time trying to guess, but to categorically state that a '2 mil buy is showing as a sell,' is totally misleading.

One could argue that the time stamp and bid/offer prices at that time firmly make it a sell, but as the order was probably worked it could be either. PXS have so many shares in circulation a 2mil trade is a bit like a gnat on an elephant's arse!

I must admit all this nonsense surrounding buys / sells gets on my nerves, mostly because the people who post don't understand SETsMM books or the regulations governing MM activity. Rant over.

Well, never say never. I actually opened a long PXS SB trade a few weeks ago, during those days of heavy volume. Unfortunately, the SP didn't follow through at the time, so I closed for a tiny profit. Seems my instinct was right, but timing poor. Mind you, I still don't think PXS have anything special!
