How come Dil's in 5th place? is there a technical glitch?

shano1 - 25 Apr 2005 13:30 - 114 of 550

Ah c'mon, that was five days ago!!

One was a short of 1000 shares on QXL, the other was a long but the EPIC escapes me.

Can you tell I'm a professional trader :-)

shano1,

I have just found out that we unfortunately did have a problem on Thursday night which would have affected this ability to place out of hour trades, so I apologies for that, but it is now resolved,

Thanks

Ian

Is there a problem with this? I can't get a trade through on PIC because it says it's in auction.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 26 Apr 2005 08:42 - 123 of 550

Kyoto,

I will get the technical team to take a look - this may be due to the earlier problems we had on the main site

Ian

Kyoto - 26 Apr 2005 08:45 - 124 of 550

Actually - PIC seems to be coming and going - sometimes available, sometimes not.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 26 Apr 2005 08:47 - 125 of 550

Thanks Kyoto

Kyoto - 26 Apr 2005 08:56 - 126 of 550

Ian - it seems to be OK now.

Maggot - 26 Apr 2005 09:01 - 127 of 550

ditto on HVN. Got to go fishing now, unfortunately, so instead of being up, I will probably end down as I can't sell. C'est la guerre!

RUPIE - 26 Apr 2005 09:04 - 128 of 550

If you are short on a stock for a current value of say 10000 and you have 15000 left as cleared funds why does the system not allow you to place a buy for 25000 thus closing the short and going long. Tried this on a stock and it would allow me to buy the total of cleared funds plus about 65% of current value of stock I was short on.
