True Sharesure

Read in The Independent that Northern Foods say high energy costs are keeping margins down. What could help them with that I wonder??? It's all looking very promising.

TFC, I am not suggesting that anyone other than a shareholder can decide their strategy; unfortunately for SEO it did attract a large number of shareholders who obviously thought that this was going to be a steady ride to a much higher sp. This shakeout will have been of benefit if it has lost them.
As for whether the company is fine or not, you have your view; I trust mine and that is that this is a stock to tuck away for a couple of years and possibly add to en route. I guess you must feel sore that you have lost. Tough.

tweenie - 11 Oct 2005 15:59 - 11127 of 27111

what exactly has changed in the fortunes or expections of this company?
the share price has dropped- so what.
If you believe in the long term future of this company you'll carry on as normal and posibly top up.
if you were in for the short haul, them ho-hum, put it down to experience.
if you've got nothing better to do than just moan and woa, about how hard done by your are and that its all the fault of rampers, then sadly you've got no one else to blame but yourself.
sell and leave.it's really is that simple.

Tweenie - amazing post!!! ;)

Must admit to baling out of my cfd's earlier this week - but I have been topping up at 12p today. Am hopping that this has been overdone now and will hold until next week when there will be some news of some sort that will help to reverse the sentiment.

With humble apologies to those that I thought were twats - even hinting that this might drop to 12p - I surely did not expect it to drop so low - and I guess it could still go lower still - but as QC alluded to earlier - I am happy to be in at this price - rather than trying to find the bottom and miss it,

Have to agree with you that I never expected for it to drop this low, even Paul might agree on this. It shouldnt be this low, but as you said, what a great price to top up with!!

Paul, Your views on the following please. I don't think its a threat to greenseal but whats your slant on it.

Ossid unveils state of the art tray sealer at worldwide food expo Oct 26/29 2005 Booth S-447.

The read up does look good, I appreciate it probably would not seal none foam trays but could it be in competision with SEO re the sealing of such trays.

bosley - 11 Oct 2005 16:26 - 11136 of 27111

anything upto a 30% drop in the sp of a share like seo would not be too much to worry about, we all knew it was rising on news, hope and hype. but the fall is now 60% and rising daily. since the peak at 30p there have probably been two dozen announcements and not a single one has been negative and yet nothing has stopped the sp sliding. what will? news of a walmart deal or a starpol deal will have little credibility unless greenseal is a success. apparently seo have said to ssanebs that there have been conversions, yet they have chosen not to announce them. why? surely they are watching the m/c falling and surely they know the market is looking for reassurance that the conversions are happening. i don't see why they couldn't release an rns for every 5 or 10 conversions. unless.....?

it's not looking good at the moment, and , as each day passes with no news and the sp suffers further falls, the the greater the hopes and expectations become of the next rns. it now has a lot to live up to.

KingKonggb - 11 Oct 2005 16:31 - 11137 of 27111

As I have stated many times before on this thread, SEO will not release RNS's for every conversion, even if it's for 10 (although like you Bos, it would be nice of them to provide some sort of feedback).

This exclusivity deal with ASDA, does thi preclude any further deals for greenseal conversions etc outside the UK?

Comments welcomed.

"Major steps are also being made in both Europe and North America towards the commercialisation of a number of projects, particularly those involving Biotec's materials and Stanelco intends to update the market with these developments shortly"

Enough said

bosley - 11 Oct 2005 16:33 - 11140 of 27111

kong, i would accept what you say if this was a different company, but, this seo and no-one can deny that they are extremely trigger happy when it comes to making announcements.

KingKonggb - 11 Oct 2005 16:34 - 11141 of 27111

Thanx Bugz. Now if other US (not necessarily Walmart) and maybe even European retailers adopted Greenseal then we could certainly see a much needed injection into the SP. What was the recent RNS update quoting about US and Europe? Yep, it could be......

With respect if you're after an unbiased opinion masterson is hardly the person to be asking, try bosley or driver.

shamona - 11 Oct 2005 16:38 - 11143 of 27111

kk, you know and I know that if SEO had conversion contracts signed and sealed they would rns that news, infact they'd probably rns the contract and when the conversion was completed; don't look for things that are not there as wishfull thinking in the stock market is an expensive game!

TheFrenchConnection - 11 Oct 2005 16:38 - 11144 of 27111

Amities / SS What do you mean when you say i must have lost out ? Lest it has unescaped your notice i have been short on SEO since it was 22p. l am not holding a long. @+
