Eric
Another great and well reasoned post which said so many things that I have been unable to articulate myself.
Pity more people cannot make such thoughtful and thought provoking posts as your and a couple of others.

Well, I think a new rabbit will be pulled soon. It will die, just like the share price. Have you not noticed that whenever the price drops a new rabbit is pulled from hat? Latest being the cigi-filters. Keep an eye on that, and watch it die too..

Oily Hi,
Ok, that sounds fair to me, just be careful how you question though, as you might know I had another run in with oblomov for just this reason, because to imply things with your question(like you implied I was being deceiful) is not middle of the road.
Ask questions by all means, but please leave ALL the answers to the person you are aiming the question at, and then you will be considered to be in the middle ground :)
Verifying facts is also a good thing to do before questioning, and you can see that 99% of my posts contain verifiable information, and anyone is welcome to e-mail me to discuss anything else.
Cheers,
PM

Paul, watch the rabbits, watch them die, one by one. Frogpack, Starpol 2000, Greenseal, and now filters. What's next? Something new and wonderful, to make you all rich, I'm sure.
I wish you luck, You'll need it.

blimey, niels, i didn't take you for a bunny boiler!!!
ssanebs conversation with seo means i was incorrect about seo announcing each conversion. it also means they are not upto 10 yet. is that with the 5 we know about or without?
eric, i always appreciate your posts but, when you say,
"My view is that the 200 machines from ASDA can be taken as read. "
i disagree. i do not think anything should be taken as "read" in the current climate. also, broker's forcasts keep changing. what will they be in 6 months time?

We don't know how many machines have been converted to date. It could be 5 , it could be alot more.
Enough said

Don't see too many facts or evidence to back up your claim that all SEO's technology will die. Can you back this claim up idiot? If not shut up.

In film editing there is an expression "to kill the darlings", which refers to cutting the director's favourite scenes which, although beautiful in themselves, are detracting from the narrative whole. I guess, Neils, you must have been a film editor in your previous life. That's the only way I can understand the sudden virulence of your attack on our darling rabbits. And I always took you for a level-headed Scandinavian, albeit you can't always spell (lol). The new ruthless Neils has perfect 20:20 spelling, I see.
However, it seems you may be right - currently there may be just too many rabbits to all survive in a hutch of limited size and some do have to go, if only to make room for stronger ones to breed more vigourously over the next 2-3 years. But, difficult as it may be to decide which ones to cull, I am not convinced that mass slaughter of all of them is a valid alternative.
Today, I am not even sure which are the rabbits and which the rabbit-keeper - all I can see is a pair of dazzling headlights which stop me thinking with clarity. Should I continue to cross the road or try to make it back to the safety of the verge? Is it better to lose my front legs or my back legs? Perhaps, what is happening is that the rabbit-keeper cannot bear to watch his rabbits being flattened as they escape over the main road and he is attempting to rescue them from amidst a never-ending stream of impersonal cars driven by cold-hearted market-makers (sorry, I meant drivers). HELP ME, my hands, feet and brain are becoming furry!
Apart from watching SEO's chart drop inexorably in classic, and therefore statistically predictable, mode whilst maintaining an attitude of bravura denial, the rest of my portfolio is also going through a dull to negative patch whilst I watch all those wild rabbits cavorting on the distant meadow always willing to jump into someone else's hutch, never mine. Should I leave the hutch and joing them - sorry, I mean catch them. Why do all these rabbits keep coming up to the wire to feed me? Are they inside the hutch, or outside? If outside, where does that leave me? Oh hell, it's happening again. Who am I, rabbit or keeper?
In the end, over time, being an investor who does not short stocks, fundamental value will out and I believe (can't say 'know' or 'am certain' - more an act of informed faith) SEO will be worth well over 1.00 at some time in the not too distant future. However, it is that dimension of time, I think, that is the crucial ingredient that can turn stalwart trust into a psychological maelstrom. The risk that you may extinguish your capital before you see true value, the inevitable and justifiable thoughts that external forces of evil along the way may hijack the company's fortunes meanwhile, creates the turmoil in each of us that, en masse, we call the market.
(For those interested, the same structural arguments lead one to understand why so many bad films are made, when there must be enough expertise around by now to distinguish what scripts will and what won't make a good'un - but that's going way off thread, even for this whacky post!)
Why we feel good about financial wealth and bad about lack thereof, whilst we are seemingly content to suffer the most appalling mental anguish in its pursuit is another part of the mystery. With no rabbits, at least one could live in the hutch, albeit in circumstances somewhat reduced from ones aspirations and with a slight wheeze in the lungs as a reminder of its past occupants.
So much for avoidance tactics - time for a decision. Do I continue to hold my SEO rabbits in the belief that a) in a year's time the current dip will seem irrelevant or, b) the SP must be near its low, so no point in selling now? Or do I sell all, hoping to get back in lower down. Perhaps, there is a middle way - sell half to preserve capital and keep half to satisfy my faith? No one can tell how much further this has to fall, although some time ago I recall suggesting to someone that, if it broke 18p, there was nothing in the TA (other than a flimsy 14p break-fall) to stop it retracing all the way to 4p. However, I have come to the conclusion somewhat late in life that those who are best able to offer advice to others, whilst failing to take heed of it themsleves, are destined to a salaried existence.
Well, there you have it, my soul bared like a skinned rabbit. Does this ring any bells with anyone else out there? Does anyone have a quick remedy for this malady?
All help appreciated - a wife, kids and family of rabbits to support!

What a total load of lies !!!! .... The Guardian suggests this, but NO BROKER HAS LOWERED FORECASTS, DEFINATELY NOT IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS ANYWAY !!!! ..... Among the small caps Stanelco, the packaging technology specialist, fell 1.75p to 12.25p in heavy volume amid rumours that several analysts had moved to lower their forecasts.

Stanelco plc (Stanelco or the Company)
Approval of Starpol 2000 Biodegradable Packaging Material
and ASDA Exclusivity
Stanelco, the RF (radio frequency) applications group is pleased to announce food contact approval for its biodegradable packaging material known as Starpol 2000 and the granting of a short exclusive period to ASDA stores Limited (ASDA) to evaluate its applications.
Starpol 2000 has been fully approved for use in food contact applications for all food categories throughout the European Union following analysis and testing carried out by PIRA International (Packaging International Research Association).
Food contact approval has also been granted for Starpol 2000 for all fruit and vegetable categories in the USA, with tests continuing for contact with all other food types to US FDA (Food and Drug Administration) standards.
Stanelco and ASDA have agreed a 30 day exclusivity period for ASDA to approve the Starpol 2000 material for use with Stanelcos GREENSEAL technology (including modified atmosphere packaging) as well as other more general packaging applications. Under the agreement Starpol 2000 material has been released to certain ASDA suppliers for trial use in ASDA products. The exclusivity period is effective in the UK and Ireland.
Starpol 2000 is a totally biodegradable packaging material based on sustainable crop production. It is available in both flexible and rigid forms and is easily thermoformed into food trays and other packaging. Unlike conventional plastics the price of Starpol 2000 has little dependence upon oil price. It is substantially less expensive than most other biodegradable packaging materials and not significantly greater than conventional plastics.
Howard White, Managing Director of Stanelco, commented:
We are delighted that ASDA have decided to consider moving forward with our Starpol 2000 product as part of their future plans, alongside the Greenseal product. We look forward to working with them as they once more strive to be first to market in this exciting new packaging product. With consumers increasingly demanding environmentally friendly solutions this will give ASDA a real competitive advantage over their competitors. Now it is for the consumer public to support and drive the adoption of environmentally responsible packaging solutions.
Tony Ruane, Technical Compliance Manager at ASDA said:
"ASDA welcomes the addition of Starpol 2000 to the successful projects it is already conducting with Stanelco.
"Greenseal technology continues to be an exciting development within the ASDA supply base and we look forward to the successful introduction of the 200 Radio Frequency Technology Greenseal installations within the timescales already agreed."
Shove that in your pipe and smoke it!!!!
I'm HAPPY to top up

You can hardly be more positive than that but no doubt the usual sad suspects will be out in force trying to justify their stances. Peculiar how people that profess not to hold the stock spend so much time smugly decrying those that do.

Hi All,
Let's get ready to rummmmmmmble !
There we have it, I guess the next thing will be US FDA status, that could be holding up the US deal, because if Stanelco needed UK clearance they will defo need US FDA clearance IMVHO.
Maybe once Starpol gets the US FDA clearance we will see Wal-Mart go for that and Greenseal together, I guess they could be waiting for proof that Stanelco's Starpol 2000 is going to be allowed on their products.
Cheers,
PM

NOTHING SOLD - ANOTHER RNS AND NO ORDER - REVENUE - LOL - JAM - JAM - JAM
panic - panic - tell everyone what they know already -
the bad news Asda confirm just only 200 maximum - that will only support the price to 6p - after they are all done - as 200 is not a confirmed figure - just a planned total - they have no new orders -
i thought this Starpol stuff was already approved - all the competitors materials are - so today we find out that it is not FDA approved for all food types even - sorry state it is -
if an institution knew that 200 is all they get - after ramping several hundred and even thousand - then you can see why they sell out now
this confirms loss levels - prelims next year - will be a big loss - red - red - red - at least SE0 can save on buying - black ink -
spin spin spin - see the oil level price quote - how about saying Starpol is dependent on the price of ingredients - and at the will of farmers - who are likely to keep raising their prices - if government subsidies are not increased - lol - oil to go down long term - farm produce to go up long term - iiiiidiots.
no dates in the RNS - its past tense - its happened already - its a panic RNS - what could we tell all those dumb PIs so they can ramp and ramp - like p'ing on a fire - to try to stop it burning your house - LOL
