opto,
Don't you just hate people who gloat!... not really jealous....honest...sob
After such an exciting morning I could hoover up another cup of tea.

optomistic - 09 Aug 2004 14:46 - 11174 of 23498

Hi Stormy.
Perhaps with my 'limited' good fortune I should buy the teas. It will be my pleasure.

STORMCALLER - 09 Aug 2004 14:53 - 11175 of 23498

opto,
Most kind, couldn't take too much more of that hyperactivity anyway.

Edit:
Re your "NEWS" post, apparently it is a glitch they are looking at, from earlier posts.

optomistic - 09 Aug 2004 15:03 - 11176 of 23498

Thanks Stormy.
Though it was odd not having any 'news' didn't have time to read all the posts. Had enough to catch up on in the tea room, Seems like one of those tea days, like another? Not many about this afternoon.

STORMCALLER - 09 Aug 2004 15:08 - 11177 of 23498

opto,
Always time for more tea, I think everyone is either worn out, or on a spending spree replacing the domestic appliances they broke in various tantrums. Might be worth looking at comet shares etc.....lol

STORMCALLER - 09 Aug 2004 15:45 - 11178 of 23498

My turn to run away now, may be permitted to return later.

stockbunny - 09 Aug 2004 16:40 - 11179 of 23498

Well how's this for a familiar phrase - Computer problems!
Yes it's almost boring now....youngest has gone onto Internet Explorer
and the browser's been hi-jacked, still trying to sort it, after some
4 hours of downloading various 'cures'....Cup of tea would be nice....

STORMCALLER - 09 Aug 2004 16:42 - 11180 of 23498

stockbunny,
Heard your plaintive cry and hurried back, one tea as ordered, sorry for the delay.

STORMCALLER - 09 Aug 2004 16:43 - 11181 of 23498

Got to run away again sorry.

Socrates - 09 Aug 2004 16:53 - 11182 of 23498

I think I'll go out and come in again. All problems today by the looks of it!

Socrates - 09 Aug 2004 17:18 - 11183 of 23498

I'm back, anyone in? Portfolio's a mess, 6 blue, 6 red, rest green.

I think I'll eat simple tonight, baked beans on fried bread should just about do it.

stockbunny - 09 Aug 2004 17:39 - 11184 of 23498

Socco - how about the beans on wholemeal toast with melted cheese on
top? (just a thought...) Hello by the way - hope your day has gone well.

Socrates - 09 Aug 2004 17:51 - 11185 of 23498

stockbunny
Wholemeal cardboard is that, no thanks. Proper crusty white bread is the only thing.

My day went reasonably well thanks, hot and sticky though.

stockbunny - 09 Aug 2004 19:50 - 11186 of 23498

Have a good evening Socco - although this message is probably
too late to catch you now!

Well what a day! Finally resolved the computer problems - they stemmed
it appears, from either music or games being downloaded off the web by
the lads - other computer-sharing-parents please take note, wouldn't want
anyone else to end up spending an entire afternoon going round and round
in computer software/download circles (lol, normal humour now resumed)

Have a great evening people!!!!

optomistic - 09 Aug 2004 19:56 - 11187 of 23498

Hello Bunny.
Glad you have got that sorted. Probably missed you now, but if not do relax before tommorrows 'excitment'

jj50 - 09 Aug 2004 20:01 - 11188 of 23498

Evening bunny and opto

Glad computer problems sorted out. Just popped in for a quiet cup of tea. Too much red for me today again. Need to sit down and review matters with a sober head!

Have a good evening all.

optomistic - 09 Aug 2004 20:06 - 11189 of 23498

Have a WHITE wine then jj. Talk about capitulation is about now, that must be a good sign for the future.

chocolat - 09 Aug 2004 20:21 - 11190 of 23498

'ello. I'm very, very wet. The house was so warm when I got in, that I now have steam rising from me - quite effective really.

Kayak - 09 Aug 2004 20:24 - 11191 of 23498

Great idea! Next time I'll send the wife out in the rain and will look forward to some steamy sex when she comes back.

Golddog - 09 Aug 2004 20:32 - 11192 of 23498

Kayak, Why not have steamy sex while she is out!
:-)

Yes what a hot, muggy wet day - i think a Bods is in order!
