This ones a heck of a specualive investment but it seems that the institutions are willing to stomp up the cash to back it in the long term.
Heres the latest news from Killik stocbrokers on the company..........
MEDICAL MARKETING Joint Venture
We recently highlighted Medical Marketing (MMG) as worthy of attention. The company, in which I have a personal share holding, has this morning announced the formation of a joint venture, Genvax, to develop a novel DNA vaccine platform technology.
Human trials have been underway since 2001 in areas such as Lymphoma and Myeloma but the technology has broad applications in cancer, viral and bacterial infections (hence the term platform). The technology works on boosting the immune system by teaching it to identify hard to recognise cancer proteins as foreign and destroy them. Early results from the 25 patient trial in lymphoma are encouraging and evaluation of the result is expected by March 2005. Successful results should mean big pharmaceutical groups will start to take financial and commercial interests around that time.
This looks to be the first of a series of announcements due from Medical Marketing as it has a range of predominantly cancer trials moving into the clinical stage. (news flow could push the price higher)
The stock has made good progress in recent sessions up to the mid-80p level where the company is valued at just under 40 million. ENDS.
Please DYOR
cheers GF.

Agm attended by about 3 times the figure last year and I noticed more Institutions there then previous years..all resolutions were passed ; and I managed to speak to DB and JH who were very bullish for the next 6 months and for next year in general. He said they were changing the Aim sector from Finance to pharmaceutical in order to increase their profile in the Market; he said they were undervalued by the market because their profile was s low key.Good news from Oncosense as the new drug therapy using Ruthenium was achieving better results than Platinium which has a market of billion of pounds..clinical trials to be announced shortly.Viratis also doing well but he said that Oncosense was a potential blockbuster which the market has currenty failed to realise. All together a very positive Agm..

Yes indeed GF I spoke to both of them for about 10 mins after the meeting..I wasnt going to go but I forced myself and I'm glad I did now.Anyhow the impression I get from them is they are disappointed that the market has not picked up on the potential of Oncosense and its potentially billion pound market..I'm holding for the short term and when they finally announce the start of clinical trials may indeed buy more..

Yup Mitzy I expect a very positive update by Mike Walters in the next 24 hours, he also feels the market as not got its head around just how big the developments are at MMG.
cheers GF.

Bit of a fall back today due to lack of news but dont worry as there should be a RNS next Thursday when David Best gets back in the office..if it is good news on R it will stop falling and start rising.

Mitzy, do you still believe 4 by end of 2005?
I cannot understand why this is languishing around 60p if the potential for 2005 is so great, what is going on? I don't suppose the institituions who stumped up cash at 70pence per share are too impressed at the moment either.
When will we get the good news that drives this further?

Technically chart is very weak, last break up from 58p found resistance at the 200 ema at 62p.One rule of thumb is to never buy a stock while its trading below its long term average. Long term mmg could be a huge, however short term until with have some further news on trials etc , SP imo will be driven technically which unfortunately at present will be to continue with the downtrend.
