Ive got a few jimmy, sold most of them a few weeks ago for a small proffit, bit gutted but never mind. A bit too high to get back in, ill keep watching though.

I think it's a good play for the next few months wilbs..

I will see what happens and may do some day trading on it. Got a 3.6% spread at the moment.

What prospects does this Philippines deal bring, what sort up price jump can be expected from this deal?

syd, this is an extract from the team oil website but it now directs you to GOIL website.

"As an example of our capabilities Team Oil has negotiated a farm-in to a highly attractive but technically challenging proven oilfield discovery in the Far East region. Team Oil is working with the existing owners to develop the Field. Team Oil has prepared a development plan and sub-surface study to operate the field and is putting together a financing structure to drill a minimum of two wells with production facilities operating in the region of 25,000 bopd. First oil is targeted for the third/fourth quarter of 2005."

As for price rise, I guess it depends how the market takes the news when its released. GOIL rose steadily for about 2 weeks on no news until the news from the north sea & then sunk. Maybe we will see the same thing again but when the news is released it will go north this time.

What are everyone elses thoughts?

Its going to be a good week IMHO. I see 1 on the cards by weekend if Grandy can release the RNS about the Galoc Oil field which from other posts and reports by Nido say Granby and Co will get 9.17% in a major oil field and some of the production setup contracts associated with it :-)

This was a wonderful bit of investigation by syd443s yesterday - congratulations.
Those who were on the ball yesterday afternoon have done very well !!
The Company seems to have got itself a noteworthy share in a potentially very big oilfield so, for those prepared to hold on, even the current price may well prove to be a steal.

price is still very low for the amount of money it is going to make over the next few years with its near 10% stake in a proven major oil reserve.

Managed to get 5000 at 1 this morning. Noted the market makers getting carried away and, probably less experienced investors, piling in at 111p or so at the start trading.
Quite outrageous tactics by the MM's.
Hopefully the beginning of a profitable journey.

excellent research, I thought I missed the boat When the price increased to 1.10 earlier in the morning but latr came down and managed to get some at 1.02.
Lets hope you find some more like this.
