Not a he but a mixed group.

Remember DYOR

guru11 - 10 Aug 2005 20:30 - 1123 of 1643

Have sold the majority of my holding today, at a huge loss,
although the prospective fundamentals do look good,
and that is what I normally go by, but there is more to it than meets the eye.
I am sorry to admit it but Haystack was right, and my man in Reading does not
like EVS either, nor the present board, paying themselves too much.
Could there be a rights issue at 1.5p, or how are they going to raise the money.
Do your own thing.

Ling - 10 Aug 2005 21:51 - 1124 of 1643

Capetown - not too badly except in EVS! The NHS is collapsing - don't get ill.

Totally ignore Annbar. A dangerous person. Very odd.

capetown - 10 Aug 2005 21:52 - 1125 of 1643

THX,never seen that post b4,am holding on to mine,as each time i think of selling i remember ASHTEAD,so am holding.Would rather loose the lot than sell at 2p

grevis2 - 11 Aug 2005 00:22 - 1126 of 1643

I sold out long ago and am now tempted to buy back in at these levels. The selling has been overdone. EVS put out an RNS on 27 July that stated they were delighted with the company's performance and gross profits had doubled! They would not have made such a statement knowing the company was going down the pan as the share price seems to imply.

Envesta Telecom reports 75 pct revenue rise in FY to end June

LONDON (AFX) - Envesta Telecom PLC said it saw a 75 pct rise in revenue over
the year to end June, while gross profits more than doubled on the year-earlier
figure.

It added, however, that high growth and significant investment in new
product areas have put a strain on the company's working capital, a problem it
plans to address in the new financial year.

Envesta executive chairman Kevin Jauncey said he was "delighted" that the
results showed a return to profitability, adding that the company is now holding
discussions over a number of potential acquisitions.

He said the company's main strategy is to build or acquire voice-over
internet protocol capability and move further towards the creation of a product
marketable in the "fully converged voice and data world" it expects to see
developing over the next few years.

I think more downside on the way

Ling - 11 Aug 2005 08:51 - 1128 of 1643

I see the AD VF N board self destructing. Mufmitz is right. KJ could be in deep trouble next week because there are a lot of very angry shareholders. The delayed TS was a disaster and then KJ just pushed off on holiday!

capetown - 11 Aug 2005 08:54 - 1129 of 1643

KJ,will never be in trouble, case of i am ok jack,Its we the shareholders that are holding our breath, but i am convinced these will recover somewhat,
I would love to know what the MAJOR investor is thinking!

Ling - 11 Aug 2005 09:21 - 1130 of 1643

Capetown - you could be right and KJ is fireproof but if the FSA get involved he will need a much thicker asbestos suit.

capetown - 11 Aug 2005 09:22 - 1131 of 1643

So much for the well respected KJ,
Think that evs will settle at current levels untill results are out.,
Hold the faith Ling.

hlyeo98 - 11 Aug 2005 12:28 - 1132 of 1643

Heading towards sub-2p soon.

Ling - 11 Aug 2005 12:34 - 1133 of 1643

There seem to be mutterings about a takeover. It is possible. EVS is a very small fish in the telecoms ocean. If it looks like creating a 'niche' then the big boys might get interested. Normally they can just let companies like EVS spring up and collapse.

capetown - 11 Aug 2005 13:24 - 1134 of 1643

LING,where did you hear these mutterings?

And if they can let them collapse, why take it over?

Ling - 11 Aug 2005 20:15 - 1135 of 1643

Rumours of a take over were on various boards but I think their credibility is low.

Just spoke to Kevin McGovern......

Frustrated with the current shareprice drop.

Feels it is caused by misinterpretation, rumour and excessive negative sentiment in relation to the RNS wording.

Have spoken to their advisors but there is no basis on which to issue an update because there is no change in the facts.

Full figures and comment will be in end September full results.

World Telecom Customers were sold to O-bit Telecom with no financial hit to EVS. O-Bit are a sales channel for EVS and the move is positive for EVS.
The level of the transaction does not require an RNS as it is not significant.

Tracy Ronan works for a company called Lavendar Communications and as far as Kevin is aware no longer works for Gamma Comms (Notwithstanding her name still appears on their website.)

There are no takeover discussions ongoing between Gamma and EVS whatsoever.

The company is very aware of the need to get the share-price up before acquisitions to avoid excessive dilution but primarily they are working diligently at the day-job.

Perhaps some others who are posing questions here would ring him - his number is at the end of most announcements and he picks up himself.

annbar - 11 Aug 2005 20:37 - 1137 of 1643

Ling -

Is that what we should call you or by another of your aliases. Haven't spent the last fourteen hours in the field harvesting to come back and read such utter nonense. There is only one poster who has spent so much time rubbishing the board, especially KJ, - we know a native or two who could put you in the pot!!
If you and your cohorts are spending their time trolling the BBs to deramp - well we say go and get a life.
Please don't come back with a riposte as we have a special one to cut and paste.

Good evening

DYOR - as you can guess, we have done ours!

annbar - 11 Aug 2005 21:38 - 1138 of 1643

2LB -

Hi -

Do you know somebody in your industry with the initials SB - without mentioning names?

Regards

Ling - 12 Aug 2005 00:00 - 1139 of 1643

Just ignore annbar. Speaking as a psychiatrist I can tell you he's odd. He now seems to have structured delusions.

capetown - 12 Aug 2005 00:07 - 1140 of 1643
