Oh yeah, say bye-bye to the bashers, or should it be buy-buy !!!!

I guess my post at the weekend, suggesting the recent string of RNS is a build up to the big Natureworks + Wal-Mart + Tetrapak presentations next week, should maybe have another airing, maybe someone would like to scroll back and find it, I just got home, and I'm off to bed to think about SEO up 10.2% at the moment, and EVS up 42.9% at the moment .... I hope they both finish higher too :)

Cheers,
PM

Look, PM1 and Oblo, stop this pathetic slanging match. All points have been made and we agree to disagree. There's no point baiting anymore, in fact reserve the bait for the end of a fish hook and take yourselves down the river lea!!!

Now, will someone politely answer my question about Cig filter patents. Just wanted to know how much this patent and royalties will be worth to SEO's bottom line revenue?

Thanks

Kong

Bema

Still in, just wanted peoples thoughts; I think they should drop Ingel and get on with greenseal(that includes dropping the already lost court case).

ps Masterson, please for the threads sanity stop your self boasting and lies, no one wants to hear them. This is a Stanelco thread at the end of the day, not a masterson lie a thon!

KK - I am not sure that there is a realistic answer - some have said many millions - some have said not quite so much due to the amount of research still outstanding and the cost of bringing them to market.

It is one of those questions that will be answered by " it will bring as much as someone is prepared to pay" - until SEO let us know whether there has been much, if any interest in the product - then it is difficult to quantify. I guess you will need to ask someone in the tobacco industry whether they see replacing current filters with biodegradeabl ones as an issue - although again some have quoted cost savings by as much as 30%.

Sorry - not a helpful answer - but as much as I can remember from previous posts.

KK Hi,

Where am I directing any comment at obo ?

I can hardly be acused of being part of a 'slanging match' if I don't direct my comments at the other person, and I have them squelched, so I can't even see what they are saying ????

Cheers,
PM

KK Hi,

RE "Now, will someone politely answer my question about Cig filter patents. Just wanted to know how much this patent and royalties will be worth to SEO's bottom line revenue?"

Please go back to my posts of the weekend about 4 weeks ago, and the weekdays following, all the answers are there.

Cheers,
PM

KingKonggb - 12 Oct 2005 16:18 - 11305 of 27111

Baza and PM1,

Thank you for the info pertinent to Cig filters. Interesting times ahead which could potentially give SEO some very decent revenue based on these projections.

A case of watch this space.

Kong

p.s Ignore the fishing in the river lea, it's bleeding well flooded down this neck of the woods!!

Not the best of months for holders of Stanelco with a continuous nose-dive in SP.

Feel that many people who bought in at 5-10p are taking profits & why not.Could Richard Appleby Ltd who bought 45 million shares in July 2003 at @ 4p be also taking profit?(which could explain large sell volumes).

However it is time to take stock & re-evaluate ones holding / position in this share. Have there been any fundamental changes in the organization to make one sell(apart from SP)?
Have to say the answer is NO.

Lets look at the key points for me over the last few months:

SEO sign agreement with Mondini to fit designated Greenseal machines(why would Mondini do so if no possibility of future sales?)
SEO buy Biotec for a biodegradable material (Starpol) which can be used both as a film & a tray & is compliant with Greenseal sealing.
Confirmation that Starpol has been fully approved for use in food contact applications for all food categories in the EU & has approval in the US for all fruit & vegetable contact.
Virtual confirmation that ASDA will fit 200 RF machines by end of July 2006.

Now to my mind the vision that Stanelco have is gradually being pieced together.
And what is the vision? An all in one package of tray lidded biodegradable packaging that utilizes Starpol & also keeps food fresher for longer. All the necessary hurdles are gradually being cleared.Next one I presume is clearance from US FDA that Starpol can be used with all foodstuffs in the US.

Remember Rome wasn't built in a day.

So worrying as the erosion in SP has been I have decided to just leave my 6 figure shareholding in its ISA & ignore the SP for the next few years.

I am confident that patience in this shares case will pay off.

And remember there is that conference in the US next week !

Paul,

As long as negative comment is posted in a non personal way this is a free speech forum - people are entitled to be negative about any share they see fit, just as you are more than entitled to be positive about it.

I have had to step in on the SEO thread today, I am now stepping in here as well - stick to the subject not your fellow posters.

I will not step in again as far as any poster on these 2 threads is concerned - I will simply take action.

I sincerely hope I have made myself clear enough to everyone and is a last warning before we remove access to a few posters including yourself.

Amities . That RNS was crap. And the trading proved it. lt was another smokescreen ! lt means little to the fortunes of SEO. A mere 30 day agreement with WAL MART testing that riduculous starpol which looks like something produced by the Blue Peter team.{to borrow a phrase.} This is the booby prize. A way of WM retaing relations with SEO . No mention of Greenseal which is where the REAL money lies . Another RNS which failed to encourage either ANY instutional supporters .No hi value individual support. Not even a whiff of venture capitalists. Juste millions of variables and NO ANSWERS reg the real breadwinner here GREENSEAL ,,,Ohh and ,of course ,,,the herd, . Little wonder even the best traders get a bad name what with watching todays silliness. . The more i digest that RNS the more i laugh . lts absurd . . MMs opened SEO @ 13p yet big sellers leapt out. NOW think about this > People were paying virtually the same price at inception as were buyers at the bell . Doesnt that tell you something ? ....ln fact after todays RNS and watching market reaction l have decided to bring down the curtain on my interest in SEO ...l want jam now not in 5 years .....When either news of Greenseal emerges or SEO is back to the 5p level i will review it .. anyway the packaging industry makes for the most boring reading ... ,,,,Good luck all...@+ J

aldwickk,

Ian
You said "stick to the subject not your fellow posters".
What a great thread this would be if we all abided by that saying, well said, after all we are all adults aren't we.

bristlelad - 12 Oct 2005 17:34 - 11311 of 27111

hay frencie/i thought you were short anyway???

iturama - 12 Oct 2005 18:42 - 11312 of 27111

TFC
In your words:

A way of WM retaing relations with SEO .
Why on earth would Walmart want to do that if SEO has nothing to offer?

halfamil - 12 Oct 2005 19:08 - 11313 of 27111

TheFrenchConnection

You unmask yourself at last. I'm glad you're out. Presumably now you will have nothing else to say.

Goodbye grenouille.

Fred1new - 12 Oct 2005 19:12 - 11314 of 27111

TFC how much have you burnt your self shorting on SEO to-day.

someuwin - 12 Oct 2005 20:18 - 11315 of 27111

From UK-Analyst.com: October 12th 2005

Shares in radio frequency packaging group Stanelco jumped 1.25p to 13.5p after it said that it had received food contact approval for its biodegradable packaging material known as Starpol 2000 and unveiled the granting of a short exclusive period to ASDA to evaluate its applications. Starpol 2000 is a totally biodegradable packaging material based on sustainable crop production. It is available in both flexible and rigid forms and is easily thermoformed into food trays and other packaging.

shamona - 12 Oct 2005 20:31 - 11316 of 27111

Nice to see Teather begin coverage here with a buy recommendation, hopefully bring some large clients in to help reverse this downtrend.

I'd also like to echo greekmans comment, Paul take your warning and get back to what you're best at; cut n pasting! Leave out the abuse and personal stuff please.

tweenie - 12 Oct 2005 20:43 - 11317 of 27111

shamoana re your last comment

POT KETTLE BLACK spring to mind

LOL!!!!!!!!

stockdog - 12 Oct 2005 20:55 - 11318 of 27111

Thank God that's over for another day - what a load of old rubbish from everyone - made Ian's interventions positively electric (lol). That said, I agree with it all, except TFC's strangely snide approach to his fellow investors/traders, what you will - he used to be such a pleasant young man when he was long at 8p - the bear will out. What's up TFC, why so hostile. Perhaps that's what they mean by the love hate relationship between the British and the French - we still love you and . . . . je t'envoie un gros bisou.

PM, I think everyone was referring to "cred" as in our credibility in you - not your crediblity in yourself. The former is a matter of legitiamte opiinion, the latter is a matter of littel importance here. Love the factual stuff, don't get me wrong.

As I said on almost the first post of the day, at least it will stop the fall and it has - for today.

Funny, all that fur seems to be receeding from my hands and feet - as for the brain, nothing a couple of glasses of rioja can't wash away over the course of the evening.

bonne nuit amities - sounds so kinda phoney doesn't it somehow!
