They won't tell you... But there's at least 32,000 individuals taking part (because I was roughly in position 32,000 on day one!). You can supposedly view the top 250 teams on the site, but it doesn't work for me, I just get a blank page.

The top 250 teams does work sometimes. I seem to remember there were about 80 teams.

There appear to be 76 teams and these are they. Column 1 is tody and column 2 is yesterday. We are number 21. The % is how the team is doing averaged out across the team..
