CMS Webview What is the potential for this share ? (CWV)

GEOFFREY.R - 01 Nov 2003 16:46

I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

SueHelen - 22 Dec 2003 10:24 - 1134 of 1924

Thanks.

From last weeks RNS

"If the Proposed Placing is completed:

a. the New Shares shall represent 31.25% of the enlarged share capital of the
Company;"

Todays RNS shows that this has been approved this morning at the EGM as probably expected. The decision and the dilution has clearly been priced in already and there is no reaction in the share price. It will be interesting to see what will happen tommorow when they start trading.

After listing the additional shares tomorrow (subject to the LSE of course), there will be 80m shares issues (55m + 25m).

The mid price at present is 13.25 (12.5/14.0) giving a market value of 10.6m.

The P/E for various samples of retained profits (EAT) to be reported Q1 2004 but for the period 1/1/2003 to 31/12/2003 are as follows:

EAT P/E
=== ===
100k -> 106
250k -> 42
400k -> 27
750k -> 14

For a share price of say 25p

EAT P/E
=== ===
100k -> 200
250k -> 80
400k -> 50
750k -> 27

For a share price of say 50p

EAT P/E
=== ===
100k -> 400
250k -> 160
400k -> 100
750k -> 53

From the above, and looking at other small caps 25p+ is not unrealistic if they make 250k EAT for this FY.

So long as there continues to be an accelerating sales and profit story, high P/Es will be maintained which means the share price will rise. CWV have got the cash to take advantage of the new market data opportunities. Whilst large incumbents seem to be struggling there is plenty of room for small, flexible, innovative organisations to make an impact. Very good news for the prospects for CVW in 2004.

Thanks for the number crunching happy.

I expect the growth story to unfold over the coming months.

The share dilution has held the price in check. Any announcements in the New Year will add to confidence & momentum.

I also expect a few more share tips in the financial press in the new year, as the market cap of 10mio doesnt look just so tiddly!

The new investors on the register will also require more information to be made public. This helps us all as longer term investors.

With no news, price will drift down to the placing price of 10p seen it happen so many times. Must get its skates on to reach 50p by xmas.

happy to watch - 23 Dec 2003 19:23 - 1141 of 1924

momentum,

Not only must the skates go on but it has to put in a Torvil and Dean performance to reach 50p by end of 2003 :-)

25 million shares at 10p and only 20k traded, hmm somebody holding tightly for a better profit than 20%!

happy to watch - 24 Dec 2003 10:58 - 1144 of 1924

I thought SueHelen had bought the 25 miilion new shares as part of the 50p mission?

SueHelen - 24 Dec 2003 12:34 - 1145 of 1924

I very much hope everyone had a wonderful and joyful Christmas.

Positive Candidate (Medium term) - Dec 24, 2003
Has risen 767% since the bottom on 13 Jun 2002 at 1.50. Is within a rising trend, which indicates a continued growth. The volume balance is positive and strengthens the stock further in the short term. The stock has support at p 1.55. The average difference between the highest and lowest price of the month is 43%. The risk is therefore high.

SueHelen - 28 Dec 2003 11:21 - 1151 of 1924

Weak Negative Candidate (Short term) - Dec 24, 2003
Has risen 512% since the bottom on 12 Aug 2003 at 2.13. Is within a falling trend. Continued negative development within the trend channel is indicated. The volume balance is, however, positive, which strengthens the stock in the short term. The stock is between the support at p 11.00 and the resistance at p 14.50. A definitive break through of one of these levels predicts the new direction. High risk.

Hi Sue!

The short term charting patterns are showing evidence of the holding effect that the 25mio new shares are going to have. The price was never going to race up once the announcement of 15.25pence hit the market, and the subsequent issue at 10 pence.

I expect those that have taken positions to be medium term holders of the stock.

I have been doing my usual end of year re-reading of company accounts and information. As always with companies of this size, there is a certain amount of "faith" placed in the management team and products.

I do think however that CMS has been making the right noises even prior to the fundraising. The company has signed up significant numbers of clients since July, and I expect these figures will show through at year end.

I do think we will look back in 6-12 months time and be glad of our patience.

Hi,

Hope you had a joyful and a wonderful Christmas. Very much agree with what you have stated.

Best Wishes,

Sue.
