What's for dinner. I know I've already had mine but a nice Pizza would not go amiss.

hilary - 12 Aug 2004 21:18 - 11356 of 23498

You're very welcome to change the plug on my hairdryer, Old Socs. And when you've done that could you mow the lawn, trim the hedges, weed the beds and paint the gates? Then tomorrow ...........

Socrates - 12 Aug 2004 21:37 - 11357 of 23498

Hilary
Plug changing, OK. Gardening, painting, hedging are a definite no no.

Fundamentalist - 12 Aug 2004 21:54 - 11358 of 23498

Evening all

Just popping in for a quick hello - still scrounging use off the neighbours pc as Toshiba still have my laptop! They promise it will be fixed or replaced by tomorrow - there goes another bit of bacon past the window!!!!!!!

STORMCALLER - 12 Aug 2004 23:15 - 11359 of 23498

Evening all,
Haven't finished the evening's allotted tasks, but had to drop in for a swifty to celebrate my leadership of the FTSE game, probably be my only chance so better make the most of it, bubbly of course!

basharat - 12 Aug 2004 23:38 - 11360 of 23498

has any body tried green tea today.its good and like everything else form china

snoball - 12 Aug 2004 23:40 - 11361 of 23498

GREEN tea?
Does that go with doughnuts?

STORMCALLER - 12 Aug 2004 23:47 - 11362 of 23498

snoball,
Evening fellow gent, care for a team spirit?
basharat,
Good evening. Not tried green tea, ordinary tea is enough of a song-and-dance, without making a ceremony out of it.

basharat - 12 Aug 2004 23:49 - 11363 of 23498

whats wrong with green tea why you are so quite now.

snoball - 12 Aug 2004 23:54 - 11364 of 23498

basharat, I don't know what is wrong with green tea, I've never tasted it.
I'm so quite now because I went to another thread but now i'm quite back again.

SC, a very large Jim Beam and american with lotsa ice would go down a treat.

STORMCALLER - 12 Aug 2004 23:56 - 11365 of 23498

snoball,
Ahead of you just getting the ice.........there you go, accidentally filled glass, sorry?!?

snoball - 12 Aug 2004 23:58 - 11366 of 23498

lol. Filled glass better than empty.

snoball - 12 Aug 2004 23:59 - 11367 of 23498

SC,do you think GD has got any green tea stashed somewhere for chinese visitors?

STORMCALLER - 13 Aug 2004 00:01 - 11368 of 23498

snoball,
The one drawback that the ambitious amongst us has realised, you've to empty the thing before you can get a refill!
Which sounds like a great idea, I'll have a refill.

snoball - 13 Aug 2004 00:03 - 11369 of 23498

Just got back from the cellar (it's dark down there) and there is a large tea chest with 'green tea - from China' stamped on it. I've brought a packet of it up and left it on the kitchen table for anyone who wants to try it.

snoball - 13 Aug 2004 00:07 - 11370 of 23498

Well, I wouldn't like to guess how many shots of bourbon were in that glass SC but I'm feeling distinctly ready for a lie down.
I must be off.
Good night.

STORMCALLER - 13 Aug 2004 00:10 - 11371 of 23498

snoball,
Not sure I'd know what to do with it, but then I don't think it would go with the bubbly anyway?
