snoball,
Not sure I'd know what to do with it, but then I don't think it would go with the bubbly anyway?

Coffee and doughnut would go down well - comfort food - Friday 13th after all and youngest in Florida waiting for two hurricanes!! Can't let them out of your sight!

Priscilla - 13 Aug 2004 11:17 - 11381 of 23498

good morning, girls! I sent an email to bun at 10.38, suggesting we replace one of the stocks with ROK. Less than 10 mins later, off it went! Grrh and double grrh! Oh, well. At least I hold it in real life and made a couple of hundred in the last half-hour.

jj: I was caught outside in a nasty thunderstorm yesterday. Plenty of forked lightning and it was amazing to see it strike (what I later discovered) a signal box on the West Coast Line. Nobody was hurt but it was satisfying to conclude that even God wants to blow up Virgin Trains sometimes!

Big Al - 13 Aug 2004 11:18 - 11382 of 23498

Morning.

Quick espresso to feed the grey matter please. Busy morning!

What's all this tea mullarky? ;-))

Big Al - 13 Aug 2004 11:19 - 11383 of 23498

Prissy - please don't mention ROK. ;-((

Priscilla - 13 Aug 2004 11:21 - 11384 of 23498

I only bought it because you mentioned it to me....!! Have a Raspberry Martini. It'll dull the pain. Indeed you will feel no pain for a week! They're great.

Big Al - 13 Aug 2004 11:24 - 11385 of 23498

Now that sounds just the thing! ;-))

For some inane reason I switched from ROK to MRS and then to cash in the ISA. What an idiot!

Priscilla - 13 Aug 2004 12:16 - 11386 of 23498

Sorry to mention ROK again, but ....

However, my techie ability is sub-zero, so handed over my mobile download confusion to the grown-ups to sort out. Big drink in Poochy's for MM, but only once my toy lets me log in again. A ssshlightly sssssozzzled MMmmmm could ccccooooorrrrrzzz kaaaaaahossss! (hic!)

stockbunny - 13 Aug 2004 13:13 - 11387 of 23498

Priscilla - suggest we put ROK and MRS 'on the back burner' for now
but have made a note, so keep us posted please on progress.
Thanks for your reply on next selection - still waiting hopefully on
a couple more replies...Choccie if you can hear me, let me know what you
want to go for...JJ you too if you're still about.....

Green tea..yes I went through my green tea phase a couple of years ago
haven't touched it recently, just went off the stuff and back to the
usual PG offering.

I'll have a prawn salad I think, if anyone else wants one I'll
leave the necessaries in the fridge.

Priscilla - 13 Aug 2004 13:19 - 11388 of 23498

Sorry, bunny! The above comment was a dig at Al....the price went up again and was a riposte to his post 11,384 - not a dig at you!

Copied from the Shed Thread - just for bunnies....

Hot cross bunny's clubhouse blaze

The rabbit's tail was alight as it headed for the shed
A burning rabbit scampered into a cricket club shed and caused 60,000-worth of damage in the ensuing blaze.
The animal was hiding in a pre-lit bonfire at Devizes Cricket Club in Wiltshire.

Soon after groundsmen lit the fire, the startled rabbit ran from the bonfire with its tail alight and headed for a nearby shed.

Eleven firefighters were unable to save the shed, or equipment inside, but the rabbit may have escaped.

A turf mower, diesel mower, wheelbarrows, brushes and other implements used for the upkeep of the 150-year-old club were destroyed.

Well, it made me laugh to think of 11 men pursuing one (far more sensible) rabbit!

stockbunny - 13 Aug 2004 13:29 - 11389 of 23498

LOL - I hadn't heard/seen that - great, thanks for sharing priscilla!

Oh no don't worry I didn't think you were moaning or anything, mean
it quite seriously in that I think we need to consider those two
for later maybe. Did you 'clock' the team table - the gap is closing...
Still waiting to find out which our new one will be..hopefully after lunchtime
I'll get some more responses, but everyone has been great today already
just hope I can catch them for this last vote before they disappear!

Big Al - 13 Aug 2004 13:32 - 11390 of 23498
