There must be a very large order being filled perhaps someone has an better idea about the News approaching ' institution', than us.

DoH pushes GPs and pharmacists together

Relations between GPs and community pharmacists must improve if DoH plans to overhaul pharmacies are to succeed.

NHS Employers is to set up a working group with the GPC and Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee to try to ensure good working relationships.

In the Pharmacy White Paper, published last week, the DoH pushed for a range of traditional GP roles to also be offered in pharmacies in England.

These include screening over-40s for vascular risk factors, managing long-term conditions, giving flu jabs, minor ailment care and issuing repeat scrips.

Tests for chlamydia, computerised cognitive behavioural therapy and lifestyle advice on smoking and alcohol use could also be offered by the local pharmacist, according to the DoH.

The DoH plans for a 50 per cent transfer of these services within three years.

Last year, the All Party Pharmacy Group reported that professional relationships were strained, and recommended that PCTs help foster better moods between the two professions locally.

Hi mc's yes still think this is on. Regardless. Release of the interims 14th or there abouts and maiden profit on the cards adds up to 2p+ mark easily if not 3+.
