I bought shares in this company at 4.5p in September 2003. I see they are rising. Can anyone tell me please the growth potential for this company as they have just been awarded several new contracts ?

Positive Candidate (Medium term) - Dec 24, 2003
Has risen 767% since the bottom on 13 Jun 2002 at 1.50. Is within a rising trend, which indicates a continued growth. The volume balance is positive and strengthens the stock further in the short term. The stock has support at p 1.55. The average difference between the highest and lowest price of the month is 43%. The risk is therefore high.

Weak Negative Candidate (Short term) - Dec 24, 2003
Has risen 512% since the bottom on 12 Aug 2003 at 2.13. Is within a falling trend. Continued negative development within the trend channel is indicated. The volume balance is, however, positive, which strengthens the stock in the short term. The stock is between the support at p 11.00 and the resistance at p 14.50. A definitive break through of one of these levels predicts the new direction. High risk.

Hi Sue!
The short term charting patterns are showing evidence of the holding effect that the 25mio new shares are going to have. The price was never going to race up once the announcement of 15.25pence hit the market, and the subsequent issue at 10 pence.
I expect those that have taken positions to be medium term holders of the stock.
I have been doing my usual end of year re-reading of company accounts and information. As always with companies of this size, there is a certain amount of "faith" placed in the management team and products.
I do think however that CMS has been making the right noises even prior to the fundraising. The company has signed up significant numbers of clients since July, and I expect these figures will show through at year end.
I do think we will look back in 6-12 months time and be glad of our patience.

Look for a return to 10p should be a excellent buying opportunity.Price has broken to the downside of the formation should be well supported at 10p.However break is on low volume so cannot be 100 % trusted
happy to watch

A 10p offer will have a lot of people topping up their holdings (me included). Those that missed out the run from 6.5p will also want to join the party as the potential unfolds. Recent rights issue investors will have agreed, albeit verbally, not to sell their holdings and why would they want to if the only way fro the price in the medium term is north? IT spending trend is very positive and there has been a marked improvement in City sentiment over IT budgets pre-Xmas, exactly the sort of budget that could go on CWV products and services during 2004.
For those reasons I just can't see 10p offer price short term although it would be nice so we can all make purchases and sit back for the medium term :-)

Couldnt agree more momentum & happy!
The issue being oversubscribed showed a degree of investor confidence.
If price drifts lower to 10pence, I will definitely be topping up. Its gotta be a buying opportunity.
I picked CWV as one of my 2004 stock picks! I still think its been one of the most exciting Share mag tips for some time. In recovering markets, and recovering IT spending this should be a good time to get on board.

Happy New Year everyone.
Does anyone know if we are still due those couple of contract announcements that were predicted for before Christmas? Nothing much happening in the value at present, but a bit of good news could start things moving again.

Andrew,
I was unaware of any concrete information regarding contract announcements, certainly speculation did appear on this board in the past, but I think it was just speculation at the time.
If you go to the company website(quite a good one!) and look at investor information and read the wording of the press release which followed the EGM, I think that should give investors a lot of confidence.
Management are confident in the products offered, and are using the funds to market all of them, but in particular the high value TDI product.
The wording suggests that due to the value of these contracts, increased sales would have a significant effect on bottom line earnings.
Share mag has a price target (with no timescale!!!) of 20pence. That is a whopping 75% return from here.
I think 20pence will prove to be VERY conservative for this time next year. I rate this a STRONG BUY.

hello all, please take a look at the moving average graph below - 20, 60 & 150 day. 20 & 60 day moving averages are are rapidly approaching the daily moving average. This seems to be gathering pace so short term investors need to keep an eye. I think long term investors should relax a bit. Lets hope these contracts come soon. and The move upwards could be slow if no news are released unless a TDI contract is announced. So far so neutral.
Another point which YOU all seem to forget that the company reports in GBP and most of its income will be generated in USD. At the rate USD is going, not so sure about next set of final results. Sue any inputs??

Xmortal,
Dont be too concerned about USD dollar revenues. The recent fundraising will buy many more dollars NOW to establish a sales office and marketing teams in the USA.
The increased dollar revenues are probably 6-18months away, and I fully expect the dollar to be trading more strongly in 12 months time as recovery and growth in the US economy pick up pace. Remember it's election year in the States, and Bush has been pump priming the US economy with tax cuts, increased government spending and low interest rates from the FED.

Littlejon,
I have a good few of my eggs in this basket, and I expect the fundraising to provide a platform for significant future growth in sales and then profits.
I will hold this stock for the medium term and expect to see significant future profits, and significant increase in value.
I will only question my holding if the stock races too far ahead of profits, or if it doesnt generate significant cash revenues. I like stocks that generate piles of cash and RECURRING revenues. I think CWV can generate good recurring revenues from long term clients.
Its currently building its client base. New clients have been signed up since last results. Turnover should be well ahead.
