Up another 6% at open.
There has to be something not fully in the public domain.
Good luck people.

classic graph that we see time and again. The change happens - stock jumps massively, no one believes, stock price back close to or at previous levels , then further news/rumour and off we go again.
Often the final outcome may be disaster but the pattern is often the same. See VOG, AEN and at the moment RENE to name but a few
That should make RENE a great short for the next 2 weeks by the way although its so small doubt you could do it

bear in mind also that there is an operations update due before the end of the year.....
so large persistent seller out of the way and it would appear any overhang has been cleared... looking at 1.10 - 1.30 for a trading price soon.

Or perhaps the rise was because of this?

So that's the reason for this mornings prolonged tree shake.
It's not a tree shake at all, lets hope it don't become and earthquake!

soul
I try to do it the otherway round sell the stock that has just jumped 50% and buy the one that's just taken a beating !! I tend to miss the really big movers mind
Still FEP , nice to see management quick to kick out rumours. Happy to leave in the back cupboard. I'm probably not as old as SWW.
SWW have you thought of bonds or National Saving Certificates. :-)

Got them thanks confident.
And loads of Premium Bonds.
Never win a thing there though.
I also collect Somerfield saving stamps.
Right, time for my afternoon hot chocolate and a nice pipe full of Old Mariner mixed with hemp.

bigger volumes in the turnaround yesterday - perhaps cleared out the seller ? good follow through today.
I would imagine a project update is due fairly soon, with news on further assessment of the reserves + financing / farming out + then an updated production schedule.
I remember a broker target of 200p + , perhaps they've been reminding the market of the upside potential....

the history of this stock since early September 2006 makes very interesting and distinctly salutary reading, unless you were unfortunate enough to be one of the suckered multitude.
eager followers of E&P stocks should be well-warned.

exactly so .... and potentially with a significant number of other companies ..... forti18 has just been gloating at me for taking a decent profit out of SOLA (again), so i have answered accordingly, citing VOG as an example of the folly of failing to take decent profits along the line.

hello master, I would like to ask you some advice, as I can see you use the graphs. I have been approached by a company called mds in london. they do a 2 day traing course in london on spread betting ie. practical training worksop. the cost is 2 day training course 1,997. A gold package 3497 or mentorship 3997. Plus a 500 voucher off the cost. I am told by this company that after the course and the use of thir website. I will be able to tell when to buy and when to sell stocks, rather that try to guess which way the stocks are going. they have 20 seat available at a seminar. He has told me that on average after the course the majority of his students make 500 pips a month consistently. what is your opinion on this. maybe you have been on one of these courses yourself. Let me know your views on this. thankyou from janet.
