If you're having any problems, or want to suggest some improvements, please post below!
Level2 changes
In the last few weeks we've needed to implement some code changes to make us compliant with the LSE's rules on the access of Level2 data.
The following requirement is now in place:
You can only use 1 program on 1 computer to access Level2 on MoneyAM using a single username.
This means that you are able to view as many Level2 windows using any one particular browser, or program, that you wish, however you will not be able to use both Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time (the same goes for using Quote Tracker or TradeSeeker at the same time as viewing it using a web browser)
If you find you're being logged off of MoneyAM's Level2 with the message 'you've logged on from another location' then check the above and make sure you're not running any other programs at the same time before reporting this as a bug.

Waldorfo,
I have now set you back to receive the L2 promo
You had taken the offer of our active_m promo before the solus one ran out, but the solus one would have retained your level 2 access and given you access to the new promo.
Anyone else who is already on the L2 promo, as stated in the E mail you do not need to change it as it will give you access.
Waldorfo,
Log out and log back in and you should be up and running again.
Thanks
Ian

Ian, the Heatmap 60 sec refresh is not working for me. I've done all the long list of normal things. The IE status bar just says "opening page f_heatmap.php?etc etc" and never completes. It has been doing this in beta mode, and I remember mentioning it. Could you ask one of the chaps what could be causing it?
TIA
Brian

Ian,
Re the Heat Maps. I never know if the map has refreshed or not. Would it be possible to show the time the snapshot was taken? Then it would be reasonably easy to see if it needs updated.
Also, I have a common problem with never knowing if the L2 and Stockwatch is correct and logged on. Even although the traffic light shows green etc the screen can be frozen. I therefore always check the time stamp before I hit refresh. I have learnt this the expensive way when I thought the prices were OK and had moved against me without me knowing.

MM Thanks for your response. I'd very much like to have an answer - it's aroused my curiosity quite apart from being a darned nuisance! Could we persuade energyi to run some of his threads over here? ;-)

Ian, re my Heatmap refresh problem. It's my main PC that has the problem. Other PC's are fine. Therefore the problem has to be my end. I'll let you know what I find.
Also, can you ask Karl to put the Sort By and Options stuff under the Heatmap and not at the top. This is so that when it refreshes all the main Heatmap remains visible on a 1024x768 screen without the need to manually scroll. It just needs a small title above the Heatmap grid and nowt else. Why you're there tell him the Snapshot time was a fantastic idea and he's the best software chap in the know Universe [the praise may edge him towards changing the layout] ;-)

Spoke to soon. Set another PC on heatmap at 22:07, it refreshed to 22:10 and then nothing. Now 22:20.

Appears a discrepancy in volumes FTSE100 38M Barc 42M.
Noticed this happening before. Suspect not picking up pre-market trades.

Using a mac ,so the problem is probably java incompatibility ......L2 buy/sell lists often have width problems sometimes narrow.....chopping the ends of f(window varies in size, sometimes its ok with up/down arrows ect, sometimes chops the price off, sometime windows are different sizes to each other), seems to be a seaq problem,as its ok with sets

Waldorf; Ian is away today. The level 2 trial was for 1 week and has expired. Looking at the records you signed up to it on the 1st Aug and we downgraded you on the 8th.
do drop me an email if this is incorrect:mike@moneyam.com
