Morning all
In early to see what reaction RTD has to friday and for LOOK interims (look good to me).
If RTD isnt too volatile might pop to Old Trafford for the day to watch England knock off the runs needed.
Good to see the champions play like champions without Viera, Campbell, Pires, Edu especially watching with man u fans and then to watch them lose!!!!!

Morning People!
How are we all today then??
JJ - how's the painting going? Full sympathy to you, having done the
domestic version of the Forth Bridge recently myself, it ain't funny!!
Is your son away from the worst in the States weatherwise? Hope so, it
is really bad luck it has happened whilst he's out there.
Stormy - ah..thank you for your kind words and for clearing up over the
weekend, I'll buy you a 'what-ever-you-drink' when you're next in.
Fundy - Hope Toshiba have sorted your lap-top...we haven't forgotten you
and a cool Guinness (do you drink Guinness cold? goodness knows, I know
as much about beer as Toshiba appear to know about reliable laptops!!) Anyway,
a suitable drink will be waiting when you get back anyway (lol)

Im lodging on a neighbours pc this am as to much news about some of my holdings not to be. RTD has picked back up a bit (12.5%) - good for the GG team too.
Toshiba have promised the laptop back by tomorrow am in full working condition, have extended my warranty by 6 months and have guaranteed a like for like replacement for the life of the machine on the existing fault if it gos again (anyone know how to jam a laptops keyboard?)
Bunny
Yes i do drink guinness cold - liquid gold in my book (i dare say stormy will agree)
Stormy
Just picked up my emails - thanks for that - agree with the sentiment totally - nice to see the house broker rush out an update this am and the price pick up a bit

Morning bunny, Jeffmack, fundie. All in early today!
Sounds like Toshiba are trying now. We've had a variety of laptops and ironically found the Toshiba the workhorse that keeps going - but there's always one :-) I am having trouble installing updates for windows which is new. Love 'em and hate 'em.
Bunny. Yes, painting not going so well probably due to fact lighter colour choice has turned formerly good looking doors into nicotine shade, so may start again! As for son, nice of you to ask. He is in Naples, where ex lives,in condo overlooking the Gulf so they took quite a battering. It came onshore just north of them at Fort Myers. Still no power but no damage either and phones working so they are lucky. Son obviously bored, he will be unbearable!!! How are your bunnies doing in the holidays?

On all accounts the big problem according to the guy at Northgate Info Systems is the model I have (they are notorius for going wrong). It is a satellite pro 2430 and all the components are upside down in the case to make it all fit!!! According to him he has as many of these in as he has all other Toshiba laptops!!!!!

Fundy,
Now realised you already had info, I only wondered if the internal mail had worked!
Guinness, yes but not cold, still a traditionalist (heathen).
stockbunny,
Too kind, will have to be later, too much to do right now.
dd,
Are you glad Owen has gone by any chance?!? lol. Price seems a bit weird though.
jeffmack,
Hope you are not tempting fate!!
Got to go again

Fundy and Stormy - your Guinness preferences are noted and will be
catered for, those sorts of 'preferences' the bar staff are happy to
oblige with!!! ;>)
JJ - Good to know he's (your son) OK, understand on the painting, had to white-out everything first before applying colour here, took for ever doing it all
twice or in some cases three times!!
My two sons are fine - thanks. Eldest is up in EC2 on a training course
today and tomorrow, very very unhappy to have to travel in the rush hour
on the tube up to Bank, but he got there OK, even though they've got
(or did have) a line totally shut for most of the peak period - typical!!
Wanted to drive up there, but I managed to convince him it was a bad idea!
Youngest is fine - splitting time on PC with me, his mates are on hols this week.
So what does everyone fancy for lunch then?? (food-wise of course..)

Could I please put in an order for a Toasted Lobster, Spring Onion and Avocado Sandwich, Bunny? Al chucked his MRS shares in the bin last week, while I thought they were still fresh enough to extract another few pennies and, under my care, they are looking a whole lot chirpier now! A chilled bottle of something white and burgundian to accompany it, please.
(now, now, Al! Grinding teeth is such an unattractive look....! Please, bite your toenails instead....!)

Yes, we encourage re-cycling in here Al! (lol) Haven't seen Al put his head
round the door yet today Priscilla, no doubt he will so I'll try not to
put on the main 'entertainment' again today but not touching anything that
resembles a chart (lol!) ;>)
Good one P. on those shares!!!
We can rustle that up for you P - but if the lobster is not tinned I'm
afraid you'll have to come out to the kitchen and 'despatch' the poor
thing personally as the bunny just couldn't do the deed.
