When i work its on a contract then i wait for another to come up.So this is just a hobbie and i must have forgot to mention it.....

Ive been trading like this 6 months on ADVFN before i used to fone my dealer and read the papers.

This is much more fun ........

about the comp.....i saw my nephew tonite and i asked him about it again. If you've got 2 laptops then you should be able to buy a network cable for about 5 and transfer the info direct!!!

My understanding is that if your main income is as an investor your profits are taxed as income tax into which ever band you fall

i've started to improve recently and have good profits in D1 but will probably hold them long term so the tax won't matter!!!

Bare: Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the stock challenge, I looked a right fool (fourth from bottom) until CSH 60% rise yesterday, I know stand a respectable 60 something. Just above the "monkey with a pin"!! Let's hope RTM tell us something soon, good luck all.
