Can I just ask if anyone had the Cafe Special today? Just a bit worried about the 'poochy sauce'. I haven't seen him around here since that menu went up. You don't think....? No, surely not!

stockbunny - 17 Aug 2004 15:01 - 11661 of 23498

Afternoon - sorry Opto, got too comfortable and drifted off for longer
then expected this morning (in other words meant to come back in here but
got caught en route and ended up doing some work..this is getting a very
nasty habit this week!! lol)

Fundy - talk to us Fundy...let us know you are fine and not suffering from
further lap-top u/s syndrome.

Priscilla - last I saw GD he was taking belly-dancing lessons with a very
sexy looking poodle (oh-la-la!)

Espresso pls (in a cup, not over my head).

jeffmack - 17 Aug 2004 15:16 - 11665 of 23498

Drinking beer in work, what kind of a bank do you think I work for? Actually I am hoping this BA dispute gets settled, I am due to fly to Cyprus on Friday next week and I am flying BA. Friday is one of the possible strike dates.

stockbunny - 17 Aug 2004 15:22 - 11666 of 23498

Hope you get away Ok JeffMack, BA could well settle this before the action
starts, or it could be complete chaos.

Ok Al what have you done???

Big Al - 17 Aug 2004 15:34 - 11667 of 23498

You caught me in 3 mins. ;-)

Fundamentalist - 17 Aug 2004 15:41 - 11668 of 23498

Hi all

Back over at the neighbours using their machine!!!! Laptop has been consigned to the bin - they are collecting it today and sending me a new one tomorrow!!!!! Having replaced the keyboard and the system board it came back and the hard drive crashed after 25 minutes.

They have agreed to upgrade my machine to a higher spec and increase the warranty to three years as compensation. Bit of luck I'll be back with my new machine and functioning again by the end of week - famous last words!!!

stockbunny - 17 Aug 2004 15:41 - 11669 of 23498

Oh well nothing to fear from me Al (lol)

Poxy wasps! Who ordered the hoards of them this Summer? Just been
chased round the garden by a persistant one - hate wasps!!!

Eldest son has just returned from day two on the course in the City,
the verdict is he's not doing that commute again, not impressed at all,
been pining for his wheels for two days - lol

stockbunny - 17 Aug 2004 16:12 - 11670 of 23498

Afternoon Fundy! that lap-top has given you loads of trouble! Not fair!
Have a Guinness and forget about the whole thing for a while.
Big Al was about, as was JeffMack and a couple of the girls are
around from time to time, so relax and have a do'nut!

jeffmack - 17 Aug 2004 16:18 - 11671 of 23498
