AdieH - 11 Feb 2005 14:20 - 1169 of 27111

LOL this has to be the best thread on Moneyam at present... Im still in but may have to sell half to get my investment back... As I said to my colleagues before buying shares is easy but selling well that takes guts...

On another note does anyone attend the bowling nights? I'm tempted to attend the next one as I only live in Camberley.

dexter01 - 11 Feb 2005 14:21 - 1170 of 27111

Amities / A trade of 230,000 @ 17.5p juste went through forcing the mms to raise the bid/ offer price to 17p/17.25 ,,,,This was followed by a plethora of buys at 17.25 . 18p may well be on the cards today . Talking of mms i believe they have been thus far quite fair with SEO ...My concern is when contract agendas and dates are on the cards which will be the time SEO really takes off a reknewed dearth of stock will exist again and the enticement of solid bid prices may end and the tree shaking for nervous holders start in earnest ...a'bientot ...@+ J ....

All this talk of selling, as Boss said last night there is a lot of old school on here, 20p is chicken feed I am looking at 150p within the next two years, most of you are here today and gone tomorrow.

Can't blame people for taking profit, 1.50 blimmey would be looking to pay off large chunk of my mortage with that... Also giving government a large wedge too...

jimmy b - 11 Feb 2005 14:41 - 1176 of 27111

I agree this share could easily go way above a 1 but there will be a lot of profit taking along the way so it will be sell on exceptional profits, at the end of highs and buy back again on lows. I intend putting whatever I get back in at lower prices for more shares and thus increase my holding.

Driver you can have mine !!!.Pristine condition .Low mileage . Unfortunately, however, due to my shinnagins with gals ( which being French i see as perfectly normal) the car is something of a raging attraction for a particular coloured girl who derives great pleasure in painting it. ,,You rememeber Aldwick? lol,,,,,abientot ,,@+ J

I'd be happy with a Fiat Coupe (red)...

A Ruthies Fund - 11 Feb 2005 15:36 - 1182 of 27111

Hello Di

I got my pencil and envelope out and was surprised at how little the SP has to move ( at current spread ) to make a quick raid in and out quite profitable?
Or am I missing something? Can the MM's keep it too tight?

Regards Ruthie

dexter01 - 11 Feb 2005 15:40 - 1183 of 27111

most of today when i have checked, comdiect`s bid price has been higher than the mid-price, so in my thinking the mm`s want stock. am i right with that?.
dexter

wish i still had my Level 2 free trial!

Dynamite - 11 Feb 2005 15:48 - 1184 of 27111

Ruthies...A dangerous game to try to go in and out in the same day on a penny share. Unless you have lots in your fund I wouldn't like to try it. But that's just my opinion. I am more in this for the longer term. PS are you the same Ruth that posts on the traders side?
Di

A Ruthies Fund - 11 Feb 2005 15:54 - 1185 of 27111

Di

No not me. I rarely go there. Occasionally look at posts under the ISA SIPP thread that's all (usually I don't understand most of it).

Well, finally couldn't resist it.

I think next week's price is going higher after weekend press comment etc.

I'm in for the long haul.

I guess EVO's 20p target will be nearer 25p short term with this current upward momentum.

So I went 50% overweight.

If I'm wrong, I'll just have to buy even more on the dips.

Woof, woof!
