Good evening all,
I have a small reason to celebrate today, after weeks of suffering a complete lack of streaming features at office, a brilliant piece of strategy thought up by yours truly (phoned am tech support), JT has resolved the problem. Turned out idiot IT bod had set MS-VM and Java in conflict, fixed in two shakes. No, I don't know what it means either, who gives a toss, main thing is it works.
Porfolio still looks like a war-zone though.
Never mind, chilled bubbly to start of course!

chocolat - 17 Aug 2004 22:01 - 11683 of 23498

I'll help you Stormie - but first let me get some cellotape for my flip-flops..

STORMCALLER - 17 Aug 2004 22:07 - 11684 of 23498

chocolat,
You are a most welcome assistant, I shall open a fresh bottle in your honour. Don't worry about sellotape, I've been practicing ducking just in case.

chocolat - 17 Aug 2004 22:28 - 11685 of 23498

Righto then

STORMCALLER - 17 Aug 2004 22:31 - 11686 of 23498

I have secured an excellent vintage, DP in the circumstances, which I would like you to sample, in the current environment any excuse to celebrate.

STORMCALLER - 17 Aug 2004 22:39 - 11687 of 23498

Actually I am doubly pleased to see you as I seem to recall you made the original suggestion to speak to techies about the streaming problem, and though I didn't take your advice at the time, I definitely owe you one.

chocolat - 17 Aug 2004 22:42 - 11688 of 23498

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together...
..doubly pleased, eh?

STORMCALLER - 17 Aug 2004 22:45 - 11689 of 23498

You can understand why I am in awe of your presence, brains and beauty is an addictive compound

chocolat - 17 Aug 2004 23:18 - 11690 of 23498

Ooops...got carried away on the doubles there.

STORMCALLER - 17 Aug 2004 23:25 - 11691 of 23498

Thought I'd driven you away without leaving, which is a neat trick even for me...lol.
You must be thirsty after that!
BTW U have mail

STORMCALLER - 18 Aug 2004 00:00 - 11692 of 23498

Fortunately I have many neat tricks, see you on the south coast tomorrow....lol

stockbunny - 18 Aug 2004 10:25 - 11695 of 23498

Morning JeffMack! So what are you going to be up to today then?
Have a good day..

Fundy - yeah I know this all stems from the MY TRAVEL thing (lol)
opps there is it again MY TRAVEL!!! (where did that comes from??)
Better stop now or JeffMack - who's not busy at work today will
be oiling the frying pan and tracking me down.

Who ordered the rain by the way? Thanks but no thanks...

jeffmack - 18 Aug 2004 10:34 - 11696 of 23498

bunny
Just finished fixing (I hope) some leaky guttering. Just waiting for the rain to test it.

BTW, Mytravel making a bit of a recovery this week.

snoball - 18 Aug 2004 10:41 - 11697 of 23498

Tested my gutters last night.
A waterfall of Niagra proportions outside, you guessed it, the front porch door!
A perfect trap for visiting paper boys/girls, milkmen and postmen.

Mornin' y'all.

stockbunny - 18 Aug 2004 10:48 - 11698 of 23498

Morning Snowie!
You will be having night visions of that porch of yours in the end, it
really has been a right pain for you - amazing patience, I would have
given up with it by now!

JeffMack - well if that rain is coming from us over East to you, be prepared
cos there's more on the way.

Roasted veggies and trout with almonds on the way for lunchtime and I think there's
some steak for those so-inclined in the fridge and a couple of cheesecakes.
Menu planning has gone out of the window last couple of weeks.

jj50 - 18 Aug 2004 11:44 - 11699 of 23498

Morning all.

See menu has gone out of the window Bunny, but question is did son go out of door to Bank?! BTW posted some news on EPD on thread.

Raining here too. Wouldn't say no to a steak thank you. Be back in later.
