My first time in a message room! I have good feelings about this share and have been puzzled by its downtrend. Thanks Scottie for the morale boost.

Hi everyone,
I am delighted this tread has returned to pleasant posts.
I will not write more posts.Best wishes.

Ajren

I think you should still continue to post. I certainly need an alternative view, Once I decide a share is good I did tend to adopt a one sided view and I need some constructive criticism so that I can sensibly evaluate it.

I've got good hopes for this one, it just may take some time.

ajren, I think you should post on this thread. Theres always two sides to an argument. I can take be wrong as long as an alternative argument is put forward that is justified. I think this ones a medium to long termer and Im just waiting for the banks to start coming in buying.

cheers GF.

angi - 20 Nov 2003 16:31 - 127 of 1253

And what's happened to the board? It isn't the only one that has appeared lacking many posts but at least it has today's.

rampage - 20 Nov 2003 16:44 - 128 of 1253

MMs playing around with the price before the big surge (hopefully) at the results in 3 or 4 weeks
I agree more posts/opinions would be welcome

goldfinger - 21 Nov 2003 12:40 - 129 of 1253

Hi RS, I D Data is up today isnt it, thought I had seen it tick up. There has been a good reason for I D Datas weakness over the past few weeks and it involves loan notes which were offered to institutions as a form of raising capital for I D D. 4 million were offered at 5.5p and pay 7% interest per annum. The market price of the share at the time was 3p on announcement. The problem has been that the shares raced ahead on news from the government and the Banks ( big customers)to just over 11p, the institutions profit starved for over three years in effect have said forget the 7% interest we will take over 100% capital return. They have therefore exchanged their loan notes for share and have sold them, taking the profits on offer. This has been going on for a few weeks now but looks to be abating. The good news for the company is two fold in that they have raised the extra working capital they required and they no longer have to sevice the interest payments on the loan notes sold.

cheers Gf.

GF,

How many shares are you talking about here..I don't think that all institutions
that participated are sellers. Maybe just the one, otherwise we would have had quite a few million. The MMs did walk this down on low volume and even today the sells have been absorbed with the bid up.I look forward to the results in the next 3 weeks or so.

goldfinger - 21 Nov 2003 21:02 - 131 of 1253

JB, your right of course, but they were the ones who started the selling actions and the speculators who were onboard, and there have been an awful lot, when they saw the price rising day after day like it did have compounded the situation downwards.

I think 4.25 million loan notes raised off top of my head. And they can raise more to a max of around 4 million up until next early summer I think. Best to check on RNS.

Seems to me I D Data have been victims of their own success, but still think that this is a sound share and still holding. Once all the banks start placing orders we should see some action. Hope we get some news at the results on contracts.

cheers GF.

Apparently the interims are going to be announced before Xmas with a possible date of Dec 18th being mentioned by the company.
Anyone any idea of what to expect? Any holders of this? GF - are you still holding?
