Handicap dont know about that a few weeks ago was we going to war or not, would it be long or or short, would the markets like it or not. now the war is over we won and now will come a short bull run if some big companies release good figures and say order books have picked up and increase estimated earnings then we will go on a longer bull run so now time to cut most shorts and pick out the ones to go long on.

Just poping in for a quick cup of coffee before disappearing off "to make my daily bread". Not sure when I'll be able to pop back, but will try and sneak a look to keep track at what's happening over the next few days until I'm free again.

Socs : I fell through the back of a wardrobe at the end of last week and found myself surrounded by bottles. It took me to Monday to drink my way out. Could I have been in "The Locked Room" ?

Hilary : I'm such an unreliable poster that I suspect that I wouldnt Keep Up in the comp. ( and in true Bolddog style end up bringing the game into disrepute 8-)) )

Please everyone tell me I'm wrong, but I see the next few years for Western Europe being marked by systemic failure of small companies ( Oh Yes ! Bolddog is in a right jolly mood today ).

Good grief, nobody's washed up! I spend all day at the workhouse and come in for my dinner and the place is a mess. Oh well, you can't get the staff these days. I suppose it will have to be haggis and chips again.

You and your malt! What's your favourite then?

I used to wash up ............... @ a Little Chef! 25p/hr, 50p/hr on Bank hol's .... three times the work for twice the pay! Got promoted though, to waiting at tables ....... I took the order and they waited!!! My career was abruptly halted when I got the sack .... is there a vacancy in the Tea Rooms? Can send my CV if req'd although my rate has gone up since then. Wouldn't get out of bed for less than 75p/hr these days.

Haven't you heard of the minimum wage? Tea Rooms pays 5 per hour plus t1ps. Mind you, most would not do it for less than 500 per hour, have you seen some of the reprobates we get in here?
