Have just looked at the team game situation. We are doing as badly as the Scottish football team. Poochy are you sure our chart hasn't jammed or something?

daves dazzlers - 18 Aug 2004 22:51 - 11760 of 23498

evening all,a quick brew ,then off to kip.

optomistic - 18 Aug 2004 22:53 - 11761 of 23498

Well Poochy most of the Moths flying today have been bent at some time or another, all rebuilt. Firefly are they the dedicated aerobatic machines? that I would enjoy!! Have confidence it will be fun :-))

jj50 - 18 Aug 2004 22:54 - 11762 of 23498

Sorry for the delay - one of your Bods is on the bar poochy, just to steady your nerves.

STORMCALLER - 18 Aug 2004 22:54 - 11763 of 23498

opto,
An inspired idea, hope you won't be offended if I copy it?

Golddog - 18 Aug 2004 22:56 - 11764 of 23498

yes opto! it's an aerobatic flight that i'm meant to be doing!

Trembling paws grasp the Bods.

optomistic - 18 Aug 2004 22:57 - 11765 of 23498

Copy anything Stormy, is that my Guinness, Thanks.

optomistic - 18 Aug 2004 23:01 - 11766 of 23498

Poochy, not too many Bods the night before, plenty the night after!!

Golddog - 18 Aug 2004 23:01 - 11767 of 23498

Priscilla, Don't worry about the poochy sauce in the menu! it's just a little something i've come up with to give cafe food a bit of flavour! just don't ask what it actually is!
:-)

Golddog - 18 Aug 2004 23:02 - 11768 of 23498

opto, if there is a night after?

STORMCALLER - 18 Aug 2004 23:03 - 11769 of 23498

GD,
Might have mentioned it before, but chap at work did one of those, freely admitted he nearly sh*t hisself, when he got back down, about 10 mins after the plane he was so pumped, he couldn't decide which to do first, try to get control of his limbs back or book another flight then and there, you will love it!

optomistic - 18 Aug 2004 23:07 - 11770 of 23498

Poochy I hope so, I will be up tommorrow, weather permitting, will be lucky to do aerobatics though as we dont have engines so the height has to be gained, unless I feel flush then I could be towed to any height, well almost any:-)
It is fun but for the first time or two it is a 'little unusual'

Golddog - 18 Aug 2004 23:08 - 11771 of 23498

Yes i know i will love it stormy! shame it is now delayed! Huh! A dog likes a little excitement now and then.

Poochy is told to get off that 'stupid computer!!', better do as i'm told!

nighty night.
and may the Bods be with you.

Golddog - 18 Aug 2004 23:10 - 11772 of 23498

opto, oh a budding pilot! nice one, will speak soon, hear about your adventures.
:-)

STORMCALLER - 18 Aug 2004 23:11 - 11773 of 23498

opto,
You are quite safe without an engine, never get off the ground.......lol
Mind you I would agree aerobatics difficult in those circumstances?!?
Seriously, how many flights have you done, and solo yet?

STORMCALLER - 18 Aug 2004 23:12 - 11774 of 23498

Oh, and how many have you had tonight??

STORMCALLER - 18 Aug 2004 23:12 - 11775 of 23498

Goodnight GD.

optomistic - 18 Aug 2004 23:16 - 11776 of 23498

Over 500 flights Stormy, long time solo. Aerobatics limited to the G forces allowed on glider type. Club gliders 3 1/2g tollerance so OK for basic maneauvers but nothing too extreme.

optomistic - 18 Aug 2004 23:17 - 11777 of 23498

STORMCALLER - 18 Aug 2004 23:22 - 11778 of 23498

opto,
Sorry didn't realise your experience, that sounds like a rude question now oops.
Funny things aerobatic approvals, used to work with a guy, don't laugh, built a single engined plane in his garden. Odd part of the whole affair is that the plane is cleared for aerobatics in the states, where it comes from, but not in UK.
