I agree this share could easily go way above a 1 but there will be a lot of profit taking along the way so it will be sell on exceptional profits, at the end of highs and buy back again on lows. I intend putting whatever I get back in at lower prices for more shares and thus increase my holding.

Driver you can have mine !!!.Pristine condition .Low mileage . Unfortunately, however, due to my shinnagins with gals ( which being French i see as perfectly normal) the car is something of a raging attraction for a particular coloured girl who derives great pleasure in painting it. ,,You rememeber Aldwick? lol,,,,,abientot ,,@+ J

I'd be happy with a Fiat Coupe (red)...

Hello Di

I got my pencil and envelope out and was surprised at how little the SP has to move ( at current spread ) to make a quick raid in and out quite profitable?
Or am I missing something? Can the MM's keep it too tight?

Regards Ruthie

dexter01 - 11 Feb 2005 15:40 - 1183 of 27111

most of today when i have checked, comdiect`s bid price has been higher than the mid-price, so in my thinking the mm`s want stock. am i right with that?.
dexter

wish i still had my Level 2 free trial!

Ruthies...A dangerous game to try to go in and out in the same day on a penny share. Unless you have lots in your fund I wouldn't like to try it. But that's just my opinion. I am more in this for the longer term. PS are you the same Ruth that posts on the traders side?

No not me. I rarely go there. Occasionally look at posts under the ISA SIPP thread that's all (usually I don't understand most of it).

Well, finally couldn't resist it.

I think next week's price is going higher after weekend press comment etc.

I'm in for the long haul.

I guess EVO's 20p target will be nearer 25p short term with this current upward momentum.

So I went 50% overweight.

If I'm wrong, I'll just have to buy even more on the dips.

Woof, woof!

bought another 15k at 16.75p.....cant see this doing anything but rising at present.

superrod - 11 Feb 2005 16:34 - 1190 of 27111

ps
a well kown tip sheet has recommended this with a buy limit of 18p :o))

stockdog - 11 Feb 2005 16:37 - 1191 of 27111

I did have that well known tip sheet's buy limit in mind too! In at 16.95 if you want to know.

AdieH - 11 Feb 2005 16:41 - 1192 of 27111

What is overweight, does that mean your portfolio is top heavy with SEO.... Still learning the technical jargon...

stockdog - 11 Feb 2005 16:51 - 1193 of 27111

AdieH

My strategy is to divide my available funds equally across all holdings. This is described sometimes as equal weight - a fairly good basic ploy for a relative newcomer.

Evidently, if one can pick the right ones, investing more heavily in winners will enhance your profits.

For the first time, I have decided to allocate 50% more cash to SEO than to my other holdings, since it is the first time I a) have enough practice at simple buying and selling and b) have identified a stock which can't lose - at least over say a further 2 year period, but probably much nearer term as well.

Hope this helps. Wish me luck!

AdieH - 11 Feb 2005 16:54 - 1194 of 27111

Thanks Stockdog, appreciate the lesson... Think I am very overweight on SEO now...

bhunt1910 - 11 Feb 2005 16:57 - 1195 of 27111

I am overweight too - at 18 stone - but I have also approx 50% of my portfolio in SEO - not something that I have done before - I usually try to keep a balance portfolio like Stockdog

stockdog - 11 Feb 2005 17:00 - 1196 of 27111

I don't blame you bhunt. A nice position to top slice from as it goes up through certain levels. Where do you reckon that first level might be?
