Baza,
just (trying to) get to terms with level 2 and read your earlier post.
As a rough guide, is it reasonable to take it that if the number
of MM's with buy orders exceeds the number with sell orders, with no enourmous difference in shares on either side, that the likely trend in SP is up and vice versa (down) the greater the gap in numbers the other way?
i.e. for example, 6:1 is indicative of a price rise, but 1:6 a fall?
I've read the MAM guide (twice) - probably need to read it again!.

Oblo - normally I would agree - but SEO has over the last few days been sitting at 1:4 a couple of times - and the price has risen.
But normally - yes thats how I read it.
It is great for knowing when to buy or sell. If there are a stack of orders and 6 MM's with orders - you know that the price is going to stick there - but if only 1 and only a few shares - it normally moves and it is a good signal to get your order in
Good Luck

Oblo - the other thing to note is that it is only the AT trades that go through the orderbook that is displayed

Driver, Baza, Bosley, or anyone!
Question of Starpol not needing machine conversions. I know pretty much sweet f.a. about the food packaging industry generally apart from Stanelco, however I was under the very strong impression that some sort of change had to made to accomodate Starpol-big enough to wait and do Starpol and Greenseal changes together.
Any information that says otherwise, other than peoples understanding?

And the Natureworks/WalMart presentation starts at 8am Philadelphia time.
So I reckon that we may get a RNS around 12noon or 1pm tomorrow, if we are going to get one at all. That will ensure that the RNS does not steal the thunder from the presentation.
IMHO

I don't think that will happen Oily because if there are any investors there they could run into trouble. If there is one more likely in the morning our time before the presentation. Actually don't think there'll be anything....time will tell!

I'll second you on that Greyhound.
They have to tell the market first I reckon-otherwise people sitting there could call their stockbroker and buy stock before the info was available to the market.
I'm not convinced either about tomorrow-might do some telephone research tonight and see what the mood is. I'll post whatever I can get here later.

Bugz, never be too suprised at how stupid some people can be, remember the dot-com bubble??? A fool and his money are easily parted! The good thing is that they offer Investors a very good share at a knock down price!

Hey guys & gals
Just to avoid the confusion, I meant about 12noon - 1pm UK time, not US time in my post above.
That would still get the info to the market before the presentation at 8am US time.

Its only going to be an RNS if it is a deal that effects the shareprice sureley - and if its a deal that effects the shareprice - aren't they legally bound to notify the S.EX soonest. Unless thay are going to sign agreements at the conference - which I doubt
I agree - it is unlikely that we are going to get anything mega tomorrow - if anything
