LOL! That'll be Shman and his "city boys with dark glasses" again.

Shman's one of the good guys but his dark glasses comments are made so often he'll have to get it right one day!

baz
No rumours please, new stuff on M*Y thread.

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 12:14 - 11888 of 27111

I stand chastised - and yes it was Shman - but at least I gave it a health warning.

Currently 2:4 @ 16 : 16.75 and 166k v 335k

I think we are going to be stuck in this 15 to 15.5/15.75 area until we get news or otherwise

Off topic, but SueHelen as been talking [ ramping ] to itself most of the week shall we call a doctor ?

oblomov - 19 Oct 2005 12:32 - 11891 of 27111

I think that should be 2:4 @ 15: 15.75 and 166k v 335k

shouldn't it Baza?

Oilywag - 19 Oct 2005 12:34 - 11892 of 27111

Baza

With regard to the RUMOUR post above, they talk about SEO doing their presentation tomorrow. Mmmm, don't know who they will be presenting to as the Conference/exhibition in Philadelphia ends today.

And I don't believe that any UK Stock Exchange company puts out any RNS's after the close of business on a trading day.

So I think that it is just those naughty boys on the dark side trying to ramp the price to suit their trading activities.

Oh, btw enjoy your (6th) birthday! The cake of the racing car had a six on it. My, you are a very sophisticated investor/trader for you age, and married to. Cradle snatching doesn't even begin to describe it!

The oily one

If your grandson has just arrived and is able to sit up and feed himself then he is much more advanced than either of my two were.

When they 'just arrived' they were much smaller and unable to eat solids.

Why waste good chocolate cake on an infant anyway?

Wean them onto a good organic celery stick, or organic rhubarb - straight from the ground. Helps with teething.

And a bit of dirt helps build up resistance.

That child seems to have more chocolate cake than a cricket commentator.

Life is so unfair!

Hope Stanelco allows me to buy my own chocolate factory!

Good spot Oblo - thank you - yes you are of course correct - wishful thinking on behalf - apologies if I misled anyone.

When you get your own Choicolate factory Stateside - can I send my grandson along ??

Actually -I allowed a bit of poetic licence as my grandson is only 4 months and only just able to take a slurry !! - but it was amusing as I had just been helping to feed him and it brought a smile to my face.

Oily - I did not have my glasses on - I thought it was 66 - much closer !!

Regards to the rumour mentioned by Baza. Just had a "chat" with a friend. Looks like it is a might from the SEO Camp, rather than anything else.

I personally dont think that its likely as the sp would have been drifting northwards as brokers got word.......

Hey, but it might happen! :)

Happy Birthday Baza!

Bugz - 19 Oct 2005 12:54 - 11896 of 27111

3/4 of a million AT trades just gone through in the last 15 mins...... Explanation anyone?

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 12:55 - 11897 of 27111

Thanks Bugz - and as we speak the sp moves northwards - albbeit briefly - taking out a slug of resistance at 15.75

Baza

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 12:56 - 11898 of 27111

There is also a steady buyer at 15.50 - every time a slug of 25000 is offered at 15.5 - it is snatched away very quickly and does not show up on the screens. I assume this is a buyer that will show up after the close ??

Baza

Bugz - 19 Oct 2005 13:03 - 11899 of 27111

We're gonna be treading water for a time as this buyer is not willing budge to 15.75

bosley - 19 Oct 2005 13:04 - 11900 of 27111

baza, bloody hell!! are you still here? i thought your wife was taking you out for a birthday treat?

Bugz - 19 Oct 2005 13:14 - 11901 of 27111

Well I'm off for a bit-sp aint doing much at all. Bit like the weather-cool, wet, damp and BORING! I hope the 'sun' comes out and I break into a smile when I sit back down at the computer!

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 13:16 - 11902 of 27111

I told the wife that her birthday treat might cost me a packet - so she has taken my daughter out instead - we will go out to a very nice fish restaurant tonight instead.

Much prefer to be sat here with me smoked salmon sandwiches and a nice bottle of sancerre - especially as I dont have to drive tonight

Baza

Bema - 19 Oct 2005 13:19 - 11903 of 27111

Good point.

Baza off you go for your birthday treat.... move along there's nothing to see here! ;o)

And anyway should *the* announcement be made you're not likely to sell today are you? Go keep the wife happy! ;o)

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 13:23 - 11904 of 27111

How does this effect us - issued today (courtesy of PM)

"CSM edged 0.41 pct lower to 21.70 after Petercam said the second half will be worse than expected and certainly worse than the first half. Kempen & Co earlier said the company could benefit from Wal-Mart using biodegradable plastics (PLA) for packaging certain food products. Wal-Mart will be supplied by Cargill, which built a PLA factory in the US with CSM. CSM itself built a new PLA plant in Thailand, due to come into operation soon. "
