Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....
Airbus haven't said that they will leave. They said that even if it happened, it wouldn't be for quite a time as the production cycle is so long. It's not a consumer mass product like a car where 'just in time' supplies are crucial for production flow. Airplane wings are a long term production game. In fact I can't see them leaving at all. What would be the point?

Maybe you are not old enough to remember the state that Labour and the union had got the UK into pre Thatcher. We were known as the sick man of Europe.
TUC General Secretary, Frances O'Grady, has announced that its affiliates will no longer use strike action as a negotiation tool; all out brothers/sisters/whatever is being taken off the table.
Stan , you didn't have to read about it in the press it was on tele too and in some places you could actually look out of the window and see the mounds of bin bags piling up on the street.
