Regards to the rumour mentioned by Baza. Just had a "chat" with a friend. Looks like it is a might from the SEO Camp, rather than anything else.

I personally dont think that its likely as the sp would have been drifting northwards as brokers got word.......

Hey, but it might happen! :)

Happy Birthday Baza!

Bugz - 19 Oct 2005 12:54 - 11896 of 27111

3/4 of a million AT trades just gone through in the last 15 mins...... Explanation anyone?

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 12:55 - 11897 of 27111

Thanks Bugz - and as we speak the sp moves northwards - albbeit briefly - taking out a slug of resistance at 15.75

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 12:56 - 11898 of 27111

There is also a steady buyer at 15.50 - every time a slug of 25000 is offered at 15.5 - it is snatched away very quickly and does not show up on the screens. I assume this is a buyer that will show up after the close ??

Bugz - 19 Oct 2005 13:03 - 11899 of 27111

We're gonna be treading water for a time as this buyer is not willing budge to 15.75

bosley - 19 Oct 2005 13:04 - 11900 of 27111

baza, bloody hell!! are you still here? i thought your wife was taking you out for a birthday treat?

Bugz - 19 Oct 2005 13:14 - 11901 of 27111

Well I'm off for a bit-sp aint doing much at all. Bit like the weather-cool, wet, damp and BORING! I hope the 'sun' comes out and I break into a smile when I sit back down at the computer!

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 13:16 - 11902 of 27111

I told the wife that her birthday treat might cost me a packet - so she has taken my daughter out instead - we will go out to a very nice fish restaurant tonight instead.

Much prefer to be sat here with me smoked salmon sandwiches and a nice bottle of sancerre - especially as I dont have to drive tonight

Good point.

Baza off you go for your birthday treat.... move along there's nothing to see here! ;o)

And anyway should *the* announcement be made you're not likely to sell today are you? Go keep the wife happy! ;o)

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 13:23 - 11904 of 27111

How does this effect us - issued today (courtesy of PM)

"CSM edged 0.41 pct lower to 21.70 after Petercam said the second half will be worse than expected and certainly worse than the first half. Kempen & Co earlier said the company could benefit from Wal-Mart using biodegradable plastics (PLA) for packaging certain food products. Wal-Mart will be supplied by Cargill, which built a PLA factory in the US with CSM. CSM itself built a new PLA plant in Thailand, due to come into operation soon. "

bosley - 19 Oct 2005 13:27 - 11905 of 27111

i suppose we could ask eric to go on a scouting mission, maybe take sd and do some sniffing around.......(badabum).

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 13:39 - 11907 of 27111

Now 4:1 @ 15 : 15.5 and 366k v 22k

W1sefool - 19 Oct 2005 13:44 - 11908 of 27111

From the Man himself....

It shows that Wal-Mart will be using Natureworks PLA, but the only way they can have Greenseal for MAP is to use Starpol 2000, as NW PLA doesn't work on MAP, or to put it another way, the only way they can use PLA for MAP is to use Starpol 2000 :)

Cheers,
Paul

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 14:05 - 11912 of 27111

Its going to tick up

hewittalan6 - 19 Oct 2005 14:19 - 11913 of 27111

I Might be talking out of my hat (or something else round and innapporopriate) here, but do we think this share has become so much of a traders / chartists dream, due to hype and news, that it is now trading based on the chart predictions and not the fundamentals and forecasts?

bhunt1910 - 19 Oct 2005 14:25 - 11914 of 27111

I really dont think that anything we do as PI's has a material influence on the SP. Least ways I would not like to think that we can influence the SP - but I am no expert.

Well the tick up did not happen - although another lot of shares @ 15.75 were swept aside and it very briefly hit 16 and came straight back down
