Can you not see the spreadsheet? What's up?

stockbunny - 20 Aug 2004 18:34 - 11904 of 23498

Can see it Socco
We have too much invested - it seem like last week when we should have had
just the funds from SN invested in a new share, that the whole pot
(proceeds from SN + our 100,000 cash) was invested and that is not what
we wanted.

Can't see any point in having cash sat there doing nowt! It could be out there losing money for you like most of the market these days. Just at the moment, if any team said we will stay 100% cash, they stand a good chance of being up there with the winners. A small amount of interest might even make them numero uno.

stockbunny - 20 Aug 2004 18:48 - 11906 of 23498

Well we have lost a lot more then we needed to if more was invested then
we wanted, so GD please check it for me when you're next on here.

Socco - thanks for your help, have a good evening, I'm going off to
get some food now - starving, didn't realise how late it was!

chocolat - 20 Aug 2004 19:47 - 11907 of 23498

Has anyone told Martini that he's been compared to a gimlet...or as the old froggies would say, gumbelet. Give me a wimble any time ;)

Btw Jeffie - can I please have 100 e/w on Dream Magic and Deep Purple?
And I might as well try one of those concoctions...TFIF as BigA would say.

jeffmack - 20 Aug 2004 19:56 - 11908 of 23498

choccie
You can have whatever you want.

chocolat - 20 Aug 2004 20:59 - 11913 of 23498

If it is, it'd never do for me, jj ;)

jj50 - 20 Aug 2004 21:07 - 11914 of 23498

Me neither choc

Priscilla - 20 Aug 2004 21:23 - 11915 of 23498

No wonder the girls have never heard of a ginlet! A ginlet sounds like a pub measure, not the generous proportions we girls think proper once the working day is done.

Pouring with rain here again. I think an Apricot Sour would slide down a treat now. American-cocktail-bar-measures, please, Pooch!

jeffmack - 20 Aug 2004 21:33 - 11916 of 23498

Tomorrow we will have a Gee Gee competition race, so please place your bets for the 2:50pm Sandown. No bets accepted after 1:00pm tomorrow. Poochy has kindly given 700 to all those that have played in the last 2 gee gee races plus tomorrow.
