Still Waiting
- 21 Sep 2003 22:33
The chart for this stock says it all.
The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.
The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.
The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.
With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.
MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

nematode Re your post no. 638
I posted an answer to that question (from ticker) 10thDec post 618.
As you know, contracts take a long time to get to the signing stage. These contracts will come soon but of course anyone can say that because everyone knows that contracts will come soon.
Look, I have a friend who works in the telematics industry NOT in Cybit and not in senior management. My "information" is more like office chit chat and the chit chat is that CybIT are doing well and winning contracts and the company my friend works for has lost 2 contract renewals to CybIT. Cybit has an excellent name in the industry. That's it, I am not prepared to go into any more detail than that. To be honest I don't know much more than that. I am not naming any names and I couldn't care less if people believe me or not.

nematode,
I won't be back for a while. The type of aggression shown by chopin makes me a little nervous, no actually it makes me very nervous.
Good luck to you, Douggie, Still Waiting and all Cybit holders.

I'm sorry I really can't answer your question properly, but all I will say is that I work in the telematics industry (not cybit - I wish it was).
And she never told us about her new job over xmas
Just DYOR if you look through all of her posts and you will get a true picture

Martincoops,
I don't like your assertation that Chrisssie is telling fibs.I think an apology is due especially when she is proven correct.

I have always worked in telematics industry but I didn't want to say at first. Also one friend I have is in a much better position than me. As long as any information I get doesn't get anyone into trouble then I will post it. Also I have to make sure it is true. My colleagues do not want me to keep posting on this board. All I can say at the moment is that we do hear that Cybit are out there and winning business and we can't understand why more contracts have not been announced.
martincoops
Obviously I have been vague at times but only to protect my and others identity, because I was a bit paranoid at first. You are right to question me and I would be the first to say trust noone. I won't post again unless I have something concrete that will not compromise anyone I know.
Would it be awful of me to say that we expect news from Cybit next week!!!!!.....We really do...let's just wait and see.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Looking at the companies website I see that there was some news on a smallish contract and an appointment - however that news does not appear to be on afx or rns
Does anyone know why Cybit donts put this stuff on the wire services?

I know I've been vague and probably stupid in the past but hopefully I've explained why. But what I am generally saying is true that Cybit are out there and winning business (they are very busy and expanding quickly)and we cannot understand why more contracts have not already been announced. Let's just see what happens next week...
The stagnation in shareprice has also surprised us. There is lots of talk about consolidation in the industry so maybe that's what's behind it. But again I stress ..just office rumour.
I will not post anymore until there is something concrete to say.

To be frank - hearing about winning contracts is pretty boring - (If every company told us about every contract it won we'd be awash with news and miss stuff that's worth while). CYH has got to the point where it no longer needs to tell us about "winning contracts" as the company is now well established and growing - only if it's losing contracts do we need to know! Winning contracts doesn't guarentee a company doing well, if it is poorly run, or can't cope with the increased business.
CYH is a small company which need to start showing substancial profits, and prove it can expand without the need to keep raising additional funds by diluting the existing shares. Onces thats happening then you'll see the share price really move. If you look at the last time the share price went over 4p it was at the end of Oct 03, before the interim results came out. The results were OK, but not earth shattering, and of course that's when the company raised more money for expansion - diluting the existing shares. In addition one of the major holders sold a big chunk of their holding. Put it all together and over time the price will drop.
Just be patient, if you believe in the companies future and if you get the chance to pick up a few shares if they drop in price and sell them (still holding others) with a small profit while you're waiting for the next set of results due out in June - go for it. I suspect this share will yo yo downwards slightly until early may, when if someone leaks that the results are looking good, the share price will pick up in anticipation of the results, the way it did last Oct.

nematode... Why do you think your right and Martincoops and myself are wrong.
chrissie... We should expect news this week then. That other loonytune, phil or efc said it was this week just gone. I can only say if you keep saying it each week in turn, 1 of you will be right, nematode will be so excited and martincoops and myself will have to eat humble pie because we were wrong, and there was some news.

Its funny how she knows there will be news from the boardroom of the company next week for sure 100%. Yet she needs to check with others if contract news is fact or rumour.

I think you have misread my post. I was referring to "little woman's" earlier post as being 100% correct.
Look, the last time I said that contracts would be announced, they were, okay I was one week out because they delayed their news release (TFC had just issued rns).
My colleagues and I have heard that Cybit have won more contracts and we would not be surprised to see news released next week....DYOR WDIK
GONE!
