I see the ramping is going well today.
PapalPower said that the TS only said that the calling card market was volatile. That's not true and is an underestimate of potential problems.
The TS also said that they would not be expanding in that market. That is very strange bearing in mond the high rate of growth that EVS have had in that area. That looks like they are not confident with the calling card market in the future and any revenues from it. CCR won't make up for any shortfall in the short term and may not even in the long term as it has yet to prove itself.
It sounds much more serious than a bit of volatility. I am expecting to see more expansion of these worries in the soon to be published results.

Paul I think they will try to walk it slowely in the coming days so maybe 10 to 15% today if they can hold it back.
Capetown well done it looks good for a large profit on 3.75 if those results are good.

Corporate Synergy would be unlikely to know more than anyone else as it would mean EVS releasing privilaged information to them. All it is, is their spin and analysis on public data.

Hi All,
Haystack is already on my squelch list.
For those wanting more good quality research, to back up PP's research, download the Edison Research note, which is available from the Envesta website.

Read it and to think you can buy at 2.5p now !
L&G got in at 5.75p and they did not sell in the over negative bulletin board reaction to the trading statement.
Old link but shows now its even more of a bargain now that it was then !

Envesta At Bargain Levels - Seymour Pierce
Monday, May 16, 2005 6:23:11 AM ET
Dow Jones Newswires
1012 GMT [Dow Jones] Seymour Pierce reiterates buy on Envesta (EVS.LN), says current fall in AIM stocks leaves shares at "bargain levels." Estimates EPS of 0.33p implying PER of 11.6x for 05, 0.62p and PER of 6.4x in 06. Believes upward revisions likely in June, post trading update as run rates imply earnings well ahead of Seymour Pierce forecasts. Forecasts assume no revenue from new "Cheaper Call Rate" product, but notes company says it is performing well. Expects further acquisitions "soon." Has 6.5p target, shares +5.7% at 4.1p. (PBA)

Seymour Pierce are the house brokers for EVS and anything they say should be read bearing ths in mind. Thye are also the house brokers for IDN and were very bullish about them as well.
Look what happened to IDN

Thanks for the SP note :)
Every time the ask drops to 2.45 a load of buys come through :)
A nice rally at the end ?

I suspect a substantial drop at the end and the revealing of a delayed SELL.

Paul it could be will be watching with interest.
WINS is the one playing between 2.5 and 2.45 on the offer at the moment.

Haystack I thought you would have read this under your Torino name on AFN ?
As Torino raised the subject of IDN I took a look and compared and there are some issues with IDN which take away from its positive potential.
Basics first the PSR on IDN is positive in that its below 1 at times 0.71, but EVS is better at times 0.38. EVS price would have to rise a long way to get to the same PSR ratio as IDN and they both rise another amount before getting neutral 1.
The prospective PEG ratio on IDN is good at x0.24 (less than 1 is good and allows higher PER ratios of 20 to 30 times EPS) but look at EVS, even better at x0.04.
Prospective PER for IDN is x7.96 and EVS a low (which is good) x3.55.
They both have positives however the problem on IDN is that the ex-CEO Mr Willmot is selling his large stake and continues to do so, he is down to 5.2% now but until he stops selling then there will be weakness in IDN.

I think the MMs raised the price to generate some buying to pass on a stock overhang and when it is gone the price will fall again.

PP Hi,
Yes indeed :)
I sent one of my dealer friends your research, and tipped him they were on the rise, his reply a couple of hours later is interesting ....
========================================
Strangely, I think SCAP might be short of stock - they have been on the offer all afternoon and have resisted the temptation to increase their offer price when everyone else was eager to push the stock higher.
Still, I picked up a scrap earlier this morning...
