Read the latest interims.......just make sure that you are sitting down.

cynic, on my Bloomberg charts yesterday I had the 50dma at 527.5. Today it's showing 526.96p, so it's right there and 200dma 428.08.

Here you go chaps.

Three points of note:

You can see the original down trendline. This was the resistance that was broken during the chart breakout last month and as generally expected provided support during any pullbacks subsequent to that breakout. But once again the SP is sitting on this support.

You can also see the uptrend, which is currently also providing support.

What you cant quite see is that the SP is also sitting on RSI support.

Which all means it's either gonna find support here or its gonna fall through. Not much help I know, but this is certainly a pivot point as far as short term activity is concerned. If it does go 480p and then 440p is on the cards. I think 440p will be most likely, when it bumps into a rising 200MA.

Looks like migration from SOLA to PVCS going on.

Heres a post I have lifted off ample....

PVCS rising another 6%+ this morning as more investors start to realise the potential of this company. It's got a lot further to run and with the gains so far seen since float (when Sola was 555 and PVCS 134 for my purposes), roughly 17.9% would mean I'd need to see Sola at 654p just to equal the performance.

Take a look and I'm fairly sure by the end of July we'll see some broker reports.

Cynic, I think your short is looking like a good trade now, that trendline support is in danger of giving up the ghost!

Having had a quick look at PVCS it does look a much more solid company than sola.

Any thoughts on this PTH or anyone?.

Off to play golf GF so thoughts will have to wait until later. But as you say, looks more solid, perhaps because they are a European company with a proven track record?

gf, I put 3/4 of my profits from Sola into PVCS and happy with the performance to date. I think we'll see broker updates/recs before too long.

Grey, he is a blow-hard. If he had went into SOLA at the outset he WOULD be a millionaire by now. If he had shorted it, he would have been skint by now. Blows hard about everything, but never takes a position. If SOLA is in dire straits, why 'aint he shorting it NOW, or maybe hestill believes it will get to 588p again. In either case, if he's correct he will make money.

There's nothing wrong with setting yourself entry points regardless of whether you're long or short. I'm short today now.
