Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Dil - 29 Jan 2019 09:30 - 11983 of 12628

Fred . Scotland and NI don't want independence so they have been refused nothing.

Martini - 29 Jan 2019 09:30 - 11984 of 12628

Strange that eh Fred. And I thought it was the Scots and NI had both voted to stay them selves. But if it is otherwise I bow to your greater knowledge

Martini - 29 Jan 2019 09:32 - 11985 of 12628

Sorry Dil for butting in. You carry on making a fool out of him..

Dil - 29 Jan 2019 09:32 - 11986 of 12628

You really need to keep up with things Fred.

iturama - 29 Jan 2019 09:33 - 11987 of 12628

I dont think the tiny little wee shman or the little englanders have ever denied the Scots or NI their independence, big Fred. The Scots had their referendum. Like the Brexit referendum, they voted sensibly. Unlike you who sits at home and hums and haws whatever other people have decided.

Dil - 29 Jan 2019 09:33 - 11988 of 12628

I try M , but he does a better job on himself than I could ever manage.

Martini - 29 Jan 2019 09:35 - 11989 of 12628

So true Dil. Out of the mouths of fools and Fred etc etc

Dil - 29 Jan 2019 09:37 - 11990 of 12628

The remaining Chuckle brother is looking for a new partner Fred.

Fancy getting out for a an hour or two each day ?

Fred1new - 29 Jan 2019 09:50 - 11991 of 12628

Have a referendum in Scotland and probably NI now, and if Brexit goes through in any recognisable form!

Martiini,

You shouldn't try to stir those few little grey cells that have left so much.

Bad for you.

Martini - 29 Jan 2019 09:59 - 11992 of 12628

Not what you said originally and I have always been happy for them to have a referendum on independace and preferably to go their own way, but they keep hanging on to the apron strings.

Dil - 29 Jan 2019 14:00 - 11993 of 12628

Hils , how's your Brexit charts looking these days ?

Tic toc.

cynic - 29 Jan 2019 14:05 - 11994 of 12628

worth watching parliament live on the box
for a change, the debate is interesting, and the end result unknown

Dil - 29 Jan 2019 14:15 - 11995 of 12628

I am.

What's Corby's amendment , 3 year delay to see if he can decide on anything ?

Dil - 29 Jan 2019 14:21 - 11996 of 12628

It's ok Mrs May just told me ... usual load of Corby wishy washy pile of nothing of any substance.

She giving Labour front bench a good kicking.

hilary - 29 Jan 2019 14:40 - 11997 of 12628

There's a 78% implied probability it won't happen on 29th March, Dilbert.

Why do parliament have to vote on these things so late into the evening? It's my bedtime by the time they get down to the nitty gritty.

Fred1new - 29 Jan 2019 14:42 - 11998 of 12628

I think T Maybe is emphasising the incompetence of the tory party's government for the last ~10 years and her own incompetent attempts as a negotiator.

She and her party are a joke and embarrassment to the UK.

Dil - 29 Jan 2019 14:45 - 11999 of 12628

Cheers Hil , so 22% got it right then :-)

hilary - 29 Jan 2019 14:46 - 12000 of 12628

I see that the Labour MP Fiona Onasanya has only got 3 months. On the upside, at least there's unlikely to be a by-election in a key marginal, but 3 months is a ridiculously short sentence imo, especially when you consider Chris Huhne got 10 months for the same offence and he pleaded guilty.

hilary - 29 Jan 2019 14:47 - 12001 of 12628

And what about the other 1%, Dilbert?

Stan - 29 Jan 2019 14:47 - 12002 of 12628

You're being far to generous Fred, they're simply not that good.
