CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT

Introduction

SRS develops personal environmental control systems, and has made significant
advances in the last year with the introduction of a new range of products.
These systems enable a wide range of appliances to be operated remotely
including TVs, videos, phones, computers, curtains, lights, doors and windows.

The government, health and social care providers, housing associations,
charities and the public have grown in awareness of assistive technology and the
benefits to key users such as the physically disabled and the elderly. In
February 2004 in a report from the Audit Commission, assistive technology was
given a high priority as the way forward in the strategy to help physically
disabled and elderly people. Further funding initiatives were also announced in
the Chancellor's Spending Review in July 2004.

The Audit Commission report describes assistive technology as key to delivering
many of the Government's public policy initiatives. Personal environmental
control systems were specifically identified as an important part of assistive
technology provisioning for many people including those elderly with mobility
problems, who number more than 3 million in the UK, to address a wide range of
needs to support independence.

SRS believes it has the most advanced range of personal environmental control
product systems currently available and are well positioned to service this
large and growing potential market.

SRS's personal environmental control systems provide solutions to the needs of
the physically disabled and the elderly. Key customers including the NHS, trade
and re-sellers in the UK and rehabilitation providers in Europe and US are
currently using SRS products with success and these markets are expected to grow
through the introduction of innovative products from SRS going forward.

Results

In the year ended 30 June 2004 turnover has grown to 812,000 an increase of 33%
over the previous year (2003: 609,000). Gross margin has been maintained at
50%. Overheads have been substantially reduced by 25% to 1,444,000 (2003:
1,927,000).

Losses have been reduced to 1,021,000 (2003: 1,590,000) and cash outflow
before financing has been reduced to 912,000 (2003: 1,779,000).

SRS raised a total of 1,872,000 net of expenses during the year at two separate
placings in August 2003 and March 2004. As at the 30 June 2004 the Group had a
cash balance of 1,225,000 and has no significant debt.

I am pleased that the dual strategy of driving sales and aggressively
controlling costs has moved the Group closer to breakeven.

Operational Highlights

As a Group we are committed to growing sales by building on the company's
position with the NHS and other sectors in the UK and expanding its reach in
Europe and the US through opening up new and building on existing
distributorships to sell the company's expanding range of products.

The key achievements for the year were:

Reseller agreements with Huntleigh and Tunstall both of which have
delivered early orders for the Group's products

Renewal of 3 year NHS contract (for England and Wales) that commenced on
1 April 2004, and the NHS contract for Scotland due to commence on
1 October 2004

January 2004 launch of the SRS Lite, the first personal environmental
control product that combines remote control of home appliances,
direct activation of a community alarm and voice announcement and basic
communication aid functionality. This product is already being used by
many NHS Trusts and with positive feedback. The SRS Lite has also being
launched in Europe with early sales achieved

US sales up 85%, repeat orders for the SRS 100 now being regularly,
with Pride, the company's reseller, reporting positive feedback on
performance from dealers and users; Pride recently installed multiple
systems at one the country's leading rehabilitation centres in
Mississippi

Award of 170,000 contract by Shaftesbury Society for the installation of
specialist equipment in a 14 flat development for disabled people

Strategy and Outlook

Our strategy for the coming year is to:

continue driving sales to the healthcare sector through the NHS

rapidly develop sales to the elderly market through our resellers
including Tunstall and Huntleigh

grow sales to the housing market, following the first success with
Shaftesbury

continue development of our product range to launch planned
enhancements to the SRS Lite and the new SRS Intellec that replaces the
SRS 100 as well as a number of accessories

continue our programme of cost containment to reduce losses and move
towards breakeven

The success of the strategy will depend on the combination of successful
continuing product development, the dedication and energy of our staff and the
quality of our resellers who are promoting and distributing our products.

The near term outlook is one of accelerating sales of the new range of products
including the recently launched SRS Intellec both in the UK and internationally.
The increasing awareness of personal environmental control systems in
facilitating independence, is continuing to enhance market opportunities for
SRS.

Trading for the current year is going well, with sales for July and August 2004
up by over 50% on last year.

Mary Young, Finance Director, resigned from the Group in April 2004. We thank
her for her contribution to the Group. We welcome Mark Kendall, who joined the
Group as Financial Controller and Company Secretary in June 2004.

I remain confident about the future and what SRS can achieve with our range of
innovative products, distribution partners and loyal customers and staff. I take
this opportunity to thank our staff, partners and customers for all their
continuing efforts.

Two shrewdies have continued with their recent buying sprees in Television Corporation and SRS Technology.

* Venture capitalist and intellectual do-goodery proponent John Gunn and his wife Renate have picked up 250,000 share in SRS technology (SGY), which provides remote control lifestyle solutions for the elderly and disabled.

Following the 10,625 purchase of shares at 4.25p the couple own 6.1% of the 3.2 million tiddler.

Gunn and Renate shown a real appetite for SRS shares recently.

At its annual general meeting the company sounded a positive note saying it planned to build on its relationship with the NHS and hopes to develop new markets amongst private customers, housing providers and overseas re-sellers.

Top-end profits expected at Huntleigh Technology

Huntleigh Technology today reported that it expects to announce pre-tax profits for 2004 at the top end of current analyst forecasts, despite the continued weakness of the US dollar.

In a pre-close trading update, the global healthcare company which supplies a broad range of innovative medical equipment products to hospitals and care centres, said it has continued the progress reported for the first half of 2004.

'It is pleasing to report that the momentum developed towards the end of 2003 has continued throughout 2004,' commented Chairman Julian Schild.

'Implementation of the strategic plan, outlined in mid-year, continues as expected and the financial targets, announced at that time, remain valid for 2005.'

Huntleigh Technology operates through four divisions: Pressure Area Care for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers, Patient Positioning and Transportation, Intermittent Pneumatic Compression for the prevention of deep-vein thrombosis and Ultrasonic Diagnostics.

The company will announce its preliminary results for the year ended 31 Dec 2004 on 16 March 2005.

Small Caps, AIM and Ofex:

SRS Technology saw its shares climb 0.25p to 2.6225p today after the company announced the launch of its latest remote device. The Mini 3 claims to be the first hand held programmable remote control device that can be used as either a controller, pager or remote switch. SRS has initially targeted the product at the healthcare market, with 3 orders received to date. However the technology clearly has many applications and a presentation at the NEC later this week could prompt the company to make a further update shortly.
