Cybit the best telematics play (CYH)

Still Waiting - 21 Sep 2003 22:33

The chart for this stock says it all.

The company is quickly becoming a real gem in the telematics field, over the last month the co. has announced re-seller contracts which will bring in min. 2m or >30% of last years T/O alone.

The company is already experiencing massive organic growth so the co. should be profitable now following last years 500k loss.

The co. has approx. 6m cash and is in one of the hottest growth areas at the moment.

With a market cap. of 25m this will be re-rated x2/3 minimum within the next 6-12 months IMHO.

MM buys went through on Friday with T/O continuing to build, one to put on your monitor...

I've not being paying enough attention to my research! Suddenly realised I didn't know how many shares in circulation, as the MM deal volumes are quite low.

What is interesting are the warrants etc.

laurencecope - 03 Nov 2003 11:32 - 13 of 3104

You could have a look at Billam (BLLM ) they own 16% of cybit shares which on friday was worth more than Billam

little woman - 03 Nov 2003 11:42 - 14 of 3104

Looking at BLLM at the moment - shame about the spread!

They do look interesting

little woman - 03 Nov 2003 13:56 - 15 of 3104

Finaly bid price broke the 4.3 - didn't stay long but overall the price is really pulling up.

Strong Institutional interest.

Institutions have only just started buying these recently. Approaching mkt cap when they will be forced to buy in large quantities for their funds. These will then move to double digits. All still dependant on good results and newsflow which most of us are expecting. Good luck to all long holders. Lets hope for some write ups in the papers tomorrow.

ajren - 03 Nov 2003 18:03 - 18 of 3104

Do you not think double digits is over optimistic ?

little woman - 03 Nov 2003 18:07 - 19 of 3104

Not if they go into profit - but the big question is when?

ajren - 03 Nov 2003 18:11 - 20 of 3104

Perhaps you are correct.
I would be surprised if they go over 8p

planttec - 04 Nov 2003 08:27 - 21 of 3104

tree shaking or problems?
any ideas guys?

little woman - 04 Nov 2003 08:35 - 22 of 3104

Interim results are due out (Last year 14 Nov) and people (like me) are speculating reduced losses, and expecting price to go up. (Which it has) and many have made good profits already and are selling (Sold 1/3rd of my holding after making 15% profit in less than a day)

gary k - 04 Nov 2003 08:48 - 23 of 3104

Able to trade on the highs and lows thanks to relatively small splits in the ask/bid prices generally.

Watch it like a hawk though as it moves quickly and in big chunks!

ckmtang - 04 Nov 2003 08:52 - 24 of 3104

they dropping so quickly this morning.

little woman - 04 Nov 2003 08:55 - 25 of 3104

I know - the spread can be terrible then suddenly it improves. I have Level 2, so can see how misleading the prices are. I think the main problem is that the MM are only dealing in 100,000/50,000 blocks (which @4p is only 4,000/2,000)

Although the share has dropped a bit, 3 are raising their prices, and one one isn't.

ckmtang - 04 Nov 2003 09:02 - 26 of 3104

i saw lot of ppl buying not many selling in average.

SueHelen - 04 Nov 2003 09:06 - 27 of 3104

DOC the next one to move northwards substantially.

little woman - 04 Nov 2003 09:54 - 28 of 3104

Again, it looks like the MM are happy to raise the offer price, but are not so keen on raising the bid price!

ckmtang - 04 Nov 2003 09:57 - 29 of 3104

the share price rising again....

ckmtang - 04 Nov 2003 09:58 - 30 of 3104

i still want to know why it drop a lot in the morning.

little woman - 04 Nov 2003 10:01 - 31 of 3104

I think the MM believed there would be a lot of selling, so the started at low prices. The decide the price they can make money. If they get it wrong, they lose!

All the MM have finally put thier bid prices (& offer a bit) up - but for how long?
