mrsigns, perhaps you should get a new pair of glasses or you can't read.

If I remember, the food bill wasn't the problem last year, the wine bill was.

I'm not sure who made up the difference either. Must've been the guardian angel of vino collapso!!

Scripophilist - 11 Nov 2004 18:32 - 14 of 35

At least we didn't have to fund the strip o'gram!

Big Al - 11 Nov 2004 19:25 - 15 of 35

Dunno about you, but we should've been paid to see it! ;-)

Hardly surprising the wine bill was so high after that.

Scripophilist - 11 Nov 2004 21:08 - 16 of 35

Was tempted to post up an image but will refrain from getting the thread banned.

Spaceman - 15 Nov 2004 14:50 - 17 of 35

Al, I still suffer mental torture when I remember the sight of bully on the floor with those fleshy items on his head.....

Big Al - 15 Nov 2004 18:59 - 18 of 35

I thought he was wearing ear-muffs!

;-))

Bullshare - 16 Nov 2004 07:38 - 19 of 35

Spaceman; you still suffer mental torture, what about me, my visits to the shrink have not done anything to help. Every time I see an 80 year old in the street i do a runner:)

moneymakesmoney - 16 Nov 2004 07:48 - 20 of 35

Bullie and your nightmares continue

Ruth - 16 Nov 2004 13:23 - 21 of 35

Bully, im not attending this year, but i know a girl who might just be popping in on you:-) that will keep you on your toes ,could i arrange anything more embarrasing than last years granny a gram? :-)mmmmmmmm of course i could, :-)

Scrip, lets start running a book
"will she or wont she have any practical jokes lined up"
i will decide which option to take after ive done my insider dealing:-)

stockbunny - 16 Nov 2004 14:58 - 22 of 35

Oh Bully....what a traumatic experience!
A brandy and sympathy is always available in the tea-rooms and
we don't charge as much as your average shrink to listen either....
we promise also not to snigger.........
;>)

Scripophilist - 16 Nov 2004 20:05 - 23 of 35

2-1 on I reckon!!

Big Al - 16 Nov 2004 21:09 - 24 of 35

bunny - sniggering is the least it should be. At least it'll never drown the howls on the day.

;-))

Ruth - 17 Nov 2004 11:33 - 25 of 35

Scrip, got to offer better odds than that to tempt me:-)

sim1 - 20 Nov 2004 13:04 - 26 of 35

Hi

Can you please include me:

1. Parsnip Soup with chestnut cream
6. Traditional Roast turkey with potatoes, brussel sprouts + chestnuts
10. Orange and passion Fruit tart

IanT(MoneyAM) - 22 Nov 2004 08:28 - 27 of 35

sim1,

I have added you to the list,

Ian

sim1 - 22 Nov 2004 12:04 - 28 of 35

crystalclear - 24 Nov 2004 04:55 - 29 of 35

So what is all this about?

Is it Browser hijacking? Some ad company intercepting browser use and redirecting it to their site? Whatever it is, my browser hangs there some times, and its only when I try to use MonayAM. Have I clicked on an advert by accident? Happens a bit often for that. Confused!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 24 Nov 2004 07:08 - 30 of 35

crystal,

This is an advert for Reuters we are currently running on the site, but it should not hang your browser, it should display a full page advert for a few seconds when you first navigate around the site. It may be that you have some blocking software that is causing your browser to hang when this advert tries to appear.

Ian

crystalclear - 24 Nov 2004 14:07 - 31 of 35

Thanks Ian
I'll reduce my usage until they have finished running the advert, hopefully not too long.
Its not the whole browser that hangs, just the window I had opened for MoneyAM so its not too bad. I think its just the security on the PC, which will let Money AM run stuff on my PC but won't allow strange unknown sites to mess about doing goodness knows what - I regard that as a security risk. Thanks for the help.
